I built my portfolio website with AI No code and zero programming knowledge The only thing I paid for was the domain, and even that was optional. Here’s the full build from prompt to live website👇🏽

Tools used: @Lovable — built the site @formspree — contact form @github — stores and manages the code @vercel — deployment and domain @claudeai — planned and refined prompts before building All free.

Here’s the exact prompt template I used to start the build: “Build me a clean, minimal personal portfolio website for [your name]. Sections: intro with your name and tagline, what you do, things you’ve built, your best or preferred content, your social links, and a contact form. Design: [your background color], [your text color], [your accent colors]. Bold typography, clean layout, fully mobile and desktop responsive.” Swap in your details and paste it into Lovable. That’s it. JustVibeIt 🫶🏽

For the deployment and domain, does one have to buy domain on Vercel too? I vibecoded a couple of sites before using GitHub but they didn’t last, I’m thinking it was because I didn’t buy domain

You don’t have to buy the domain on Vercel, you can buy it anywhere. I just did it there because it was more convenient. And your sites are probably still live. A domain is just a custom URL. Without one, you still get a free generated link from wherever you deployed.. For example Try rechecking
