"'Five Dolls for an August Moon' (1970) is a terrible movie, it certainly is the worst movie among those I directed. I couldn’t do anything about it, we were working under disastrous conditions." --- Mario Bava Full Excerpt: "I sometimes get swindled, or I end up shooting movies that are not up to my usual standards. The case of [my film] 'Five Dolls for an August Moon' (1970) is a good example, it went like this. The producers give me a screenplay, I read it and I say that I don’t like it, it is identical to [Agatha Christie’s 1939 novel] 'And Then There Were None'. But the producers insist and, in the end, I accept to direct the film. I tell them that we will discuss the project in detail when they will pay me. So I start working on other things and I forget about the movie, until one Saturday morning the producers call me in their office, they give me my cheque and my contract, and they tell me that the shooting begins on Monday, in two days’ time. I take the money and I sign the contract, but I tell the producers that the screenplay isn’t good, that I need at least ten days to fix the story and make preparations… but, no, the shooting begins on Monday. So, in the end, what do I care? The film is done. It is a terrible movie, it certainly is the worst movie among those I directed. I couldn’t do anything about it, we were working under disastrous conditions, it was October, it was very cold, and most of the film took place at the seaside as if it was summer. I could only make two changes in the story. First, putting the corpses in the fridge was my idea (in the screenplay the corpses were buried and there were little crosses on the graves, just like in western movies!). Second, I changed the ending […] a little bit, but I don’t think that I managed to save the film. My daughter watched the movie in Padova, and she asked me if I had gone mad. You see, my mistake is that I accept any job they offer me. Moreover, I am unable to take things seriously, I always feel like joking, and for the producers a director who makes jokes is unconceivable, incompatible [with the job’s duties]. But I have been in the film business for too many years now, just like my father [Eugenio Bava], who directed the mythological films of the silent era; I know everything and everybody [in the profession], so how can I take seriously this gigantic, absurd circus [baraccone]? But I have taxes to pay and I work with my own personal crew, my regulars – the camera operator, my son, the electrician… They have been loyally following me for the past twenty years… If I stop making movies, how will they make a living?" (Mario Bava's interview, Cinepugno, 1970/71)

Good morning, TeamFuloZim/Global 🌅 Yesterday was one of those Saturdays that starts with high hopes and ends in a bit of self-doubt and kitchen smoke. Having finally recovered from a relentless two-week streak of #ZesaUK call-outs, I decided to reward myself (and maybe punish others) by making my signature NFC ,Njanja Fried Chicken. 😋😋 But aish! Let’s just say… the results were mixed. 😬 Now don’t get me wrong, I’ve made this before ,and it nearly brought the house down (in a good way). But yesterday, ummm, ndakawona moto! Let’s just say something wasn’t oil-right. (See what I did there? 😜) The pot started frothing like I’d poured in Sunlight dishwashing liquid ,and no, Fa Matiz Fadzie, before you start ,I didn’t. This isn’t a repeat of the Great Derere Disaster of 2021. I swear! 😂 45 minutes, team. Forty. Five. To fry a few humble 🥁🍗?? I could’ve walked to KFC and back. Twice. But KFC isn’t NFC! What was going on? Does the type of cooking oil make a difference? Because I always assumed mafuta is mafuta. Turns out… I may have been cooking in ignorance all these years. 🫣 And don’t even bring up the pot I used. I already know what you’re thinking. “Wrong pan, wrong pot…” But you know the rules in UK households: the “special cookware” is strictly out of bounds for most men ,in case we burn it or give it funny smells. 🙄 So yes, I had to work with what I was “allowed” to use. Call it survival cooking. Also, can we talk about how I initially cracked the eggs directly into the flour bowl? Tsitsitsitsitsitsitsi, #DzunguMoment ,I know. I KNOW. I later remembered the egg wash was supposed to be in a separate bowl. Rookie error. I corrected course, but the flour still wasn’t binding like it does on those perfect Chef Vie 💙 🇿🇼 🇰🇪 🇰🇷 🇯🇴 🇿🇦 Chef Vie or COOKING WITH LIA 👩🏾‍🍳🌱 reels. Where’s my crispy coating era, nhayi? That said ,shout out to my NSDB 🌶️🌶️ for adding that Njanja zing to the mix. The spice was there. The heart was there. But judging by the silence around the dinner table, I suspect this batch of NFC didn’t quite Nail Fried Chicken. 🤦🏽‍♂️ P.S. Don’t you DARE come here telling me to get an air fryer. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: I DON’T WANT AN AIR FRYER! Sorry for shouting. Just making sure those in the back row heard me. 😤NubianQueenBee Anyway, enjoy the photos, pretend it was perfect, and let’s laugh through the learning curve. #NFC #NjanjaFriedChicken #NSDBMagic #SundaySmiles

So if you’ve been following, you know that the state of Connecticut lied about postponing the chemical spraying in our waterways until 2026. Regardless of local (and now national) public outcry, they decided to rush ahead and poison our rivers and lakes with Diquat, a chemical that is estimated to be up to 200 times more toxic than Glyphosate, banned in Europe, and proven to be harmful to humans and wildlife. We’ve got eyes on the water, and a team of people working behind the scenes on multiple fronts. And those involved in this assault on our water will regret the reckless decision they’ve made. This issue has obviously become deeply personal for me. They’ve written articles to discredit me, called me a conspiracy theorist spreading fear mongering “misinformation” .. Criticizing me for refusing to sit down, shut my mouth, and “trust the experts” For them to think that such things would scare me off was a gross miscalculation. This was never about me. It was about protecting the state I call home. The people, the animals, and our water. They think we’ll accept it for what it is and walk away defeated. They miscalculated that one too. This is far from over. And remember : this isn’t just about Connecticut. Several other states have either already sprayed this year or are planning to. But the fight has to start somewhere. Stand up for your communities, and don’t back down. Be brave. Be a MF American. This isn’t about politics. It’s about water. And if that isn’t a fight worth fighting then I don’t know what is 🫡🕸

My most PERSONAL post yet. Growing up, like so many kids, I was consumed by football. One of my earliest memories is religiously reading Match Magazine word for word every Wednesday. I genuinely enjoyed playing, or at least the idea, but it was never a “comfortable” experience, especially in a team. I always felt I had the aptitude but aside from tenacity there was always a disconnect between idea and execution. I left grassroots football before I was a teenager never returning. Years later I was diagnosed with Dyspraxia, a condition affecting coordination, movement and processing. I never had much of a chance😂 Fair enough, you’re either good enough or you’re not. But it still stings knowing my entire grassroots “career” felt like a 45 minute cumulative cameo. Away from football, business and economics always made sense to me. Money, systems, processes. I loved it. I’d eventually graduate with an undergrad and a master’s in economics, but sport played its part throughout we My athletic “development” took years though I did too Taekwondo for a bit it wasn’t until I found CrossFit where I found what fitted me. Stayed consistent, got stronger and now the “uncoordinated” kid can now do things he never would’ve imagined. We keep building! In January 2021 I formed my concept. Drawing on my love for Moneyball. I set out to bring something different to the Irish football landscape with a thread: “50 Ways to Improve the League of Ireland.” 50 became 260. The ethos lives on. Once Irish Football Blog, our “rebrand” to IFB Media just made sense. IFB covers scouting, player profiling, journalism, sports marketing and more. Alumni of IFB now work in national, international media and football. 30,000+ followers, built from 458 in 2021, modest, but I’m proud. People call it a “passion project.” It’s more than that, it demands obsession. Even then you’re never too far from negativity, or condescending comments, and not even from “trolls.” Mainstream sources are as bad. But this kid who got 45 mins of grassroots football now runs a pretty cool football page? Funny how it works, ay? IFB isn’t going anywhere. Neither am I. Let’s see what’s next!

🚨 AMERICANS ARE JUST NOW REALIZING THEIR “ICE CREAM” ISN’T EVEN LEGALLY ICE CREAM ANYMORE "Does anybody know what's happened to Breyers ice cream...that it's no longer ice cream?" A couple posted a viral video after buying a tub of what they thought was normal ice cream only to discover the packaging never uses the words ice cream anywhere. Instead, the label says “Frozen Dairy Dessert.” Why? Because years ago, companies quietly changed their recipes: • Less cream • More air • More gums & stabilizers • Cheaper fillers • Ingredients that no longer meet FDA standards to legally call it ice cream The wife says she bought this thinking she was being “moderately healthy,” until she noticed something insane: “NOWHERE on here does it say ice cream.” “It literally says frozen dairy dessert." “This was the ice cream of my childhood…now it tastes TERRIBLE." She opens the container and immediately freaks out: “First of all… what is this texture?” “It tastes metallic.” “It’s forming a FILM inside my mouth." “This is NOT ice cream.” Her husband jumps in: “This used to be the PREMIUM ice cream of the bourgeoisie.” She stops him, but keeps inspecting the tub: “They made it LOOK like ice cream… the fancy label, the ‘Rainforest Alliance’ leaf… the Grade A milk logo… but WHAT am I actually eating here?” “Because it’s definitely not ice cream.” People across the internet are now checking their own tubs and realizing the same thing - half the brands in their freezer aren’t even allowed to be called real ice cream. Did you know companies legally reclassified this stuff… or have you been eating ‘frozen dairy dessert’ without realizing it?

A vocal trainer breaks down Jinyoung’s performance of “When I stop thinking”, teasing out all the little things – from technique to subtle foxiness 😆 – that make people want to melt into his voice~ (excerpted) (0:13) “To begin with, his voice has depth because it’s naturally on the lower side. (...) If a voice is only clear, it can end up sounding piercing or tiring to listen to. But if it only has depth, it can sound overly muffled or blurry. He has those two things in really good balance. That’s why people often talk about singing that’s ‘half air, half voice’, or singing that sounds ‘like you’re speaking’. In the end, those expressions are really talking about exactly that balance. So when you hear Jinyoung sing and think, ‘It almost sounds like he’s just speaking’, there’s an analytical explanation for why it comes across that way.” (0:55) “Right here, he creates a clear contrast in the tone. Up until this point, the vocal fold closure is a little firmer – (...) He starts mixing in a little more breath. So he’s creating tonal contrast. At first, he brings out more of the tone colour, then in the latter half, he shifts into a slightly lighter tone. There’s a little push-and-pull between the two. That’s something good singers do. Starting from that balanced state, he moves a little this way, then a little that way – and he does it extremely well. (...) Can you hear it? The song isn’t just moving along in one straight line. There’s this constant ebb and flow. He’s incredibly good at doing it without making it obvious. It all comes across so naturally.” (2:23) “And that’s what makes us listen without even realising it. It’s what pulls us into the song. How should I put this... this might be a good way of describing it – though I hope the fans don’t misunderstand what I mean. I mean it as a compliment. Jinyoung gives off the image of someone who’s completely innocent and pure, almost like a child. But when it comes to singing, it’s like there’s a little fox inside him – someone who’s really good at drawing people in. That’s why, if you’re a vocalist and you really want to become good at singing, this is the sort of thing you need to study. People call it ‘copying’. Copying.” (2:51) “As I sat here listening to the song and watching him perform, I found myself thinking about something. The reason we hear Jinyoung sing and think, ‘This feels comforting... this sounds so nice... it feels warm…’ might simply be Jinyoung’s own charm. When you look at him as a person, he never comes across as overly gloomy. Nor does he seem overly high-energy. He just has this calm, well-balanced presence. He gives off the impression that he’s always wearing a gentle smile. I think that contributes to the feeling we get as well. That’s not something we can explain scientifically. But sometimes, it’s precisely those things that move us the most.” (3:32) “He also uses this kind of breathy tone extremely well. When you use this sort of tone well, it makes the song feel much softer. Instead of having the rough texture of sandpaper, it feels more like silk. When you touch a high-quality coat, you think, ‘Wow... that’s so soft’. That’s the kind of sound this is.” (4:07) “Ah... his falsetto here is really nice. This kind of falsetto is used a lot in R&B. Artists like So Soo Bin and DEAN are also very good at using this kind of falsetto. When you hear it, it gives you that slightly ticklish feeling. He’s very good at using this sort of breathy tone.” (4:41) “He could sing it with a cleaner tone. But instead (...) he uses more breath, creating a sound that almost tickles your ears. You could probably call it the kind of falsetto that’s good at capturing women’s hearts. That’s what I’d call it.” (5:08) “Personally, I’m not really familiar with idol culture. And my own tastes lean a little old-school, so I don’t usually listen to stylish vocalists like this. But listening to him this way and analysing his singing... it’s really, really good. It’s just so stylish. So stylish. It’s actually making me want to try singing in this sort of style myself.” 🔗 #Jinyoung #진영 #GOT7 박진영

In my opinion, as much as I want Palestine to thrive to live, to grow, to stand tall I will never side with Hamas. A group that starves its own people is not “resistance,” it’s an occupation of its own kind. We donate food for free, Hamas takes it, sells it, and pockets the profit. And when civilians line up to take what’s rightfully theirs, they’re beaten. These people don’t deserve this abuse; they deserve dignity and life. I’ve seen the fake videos, the staged tragedies made to trigger outrage, and I’ve also seen the calls from Israel warning civilians to evacuate before a strike. This is not the black-and-white story that certain activists in the West like to paint. And here’s where the irony gets loud the LGBT community chanting “Free Palestine” when, under Hamas, they wouldn’t just lose their voice, they’d lose their life. Women screaming for a cause they barely understand, not realising that under Hamas they’d be stripped of every right they are exercising in that very moment. I believe in a two-state solution. I believe in the Jewish right to live. And I see with my own eyes how Israel is thriving how Muslims, Christians, and Jews already live side by side there, working, studying, and raising families. Yes, Arab Jews exist, and yes, they call Israel home. This isn’t a war between religions; it’s a war between those who want coexistence and those who thrive on chaos. So if you live safe in the UK, happy and free, and you’ve seen what Hamas does yet still chant “Free Palestine” without saying “from Hamas,” you’re missing the point entirely. The chant should be loud and clear: Free Palestine from Hamas. Because until Palestine is free from Hamas, it will never truly be free. #free_palestine_from_hamas

NEWS CENTRAL SILENCED MY VOICE!!! For 4+ hours, a “public discourse” space by News Central TV (News Central TV )hosted only one side. When it finally opened for 2 minutes of engagement, I spoke—and was the only person repeatedly interrupted. After the host said the people from the APC declined, I asked to proceed. Instead, I was removed. This isn’t moderation. It’s control. You can hear clearly when i ask to proceed, ilemona clearly yeilds to me, but i dont speak. That is the moment i was dropped. Gbenga Aborowa 🅾️ you asked to put in a word, even after i muted my mic i was dropped. I have a right to criticize you, the press should be the one championing my right to freedom of expression, but you limited my voice simply because it was critical of you and stating my observations. I was not disrespectful or rude, maybe assertive. Worse, this isn’t new. On Feb 26, I raised this same concern respectfully and even less directly when they ran a similar one-sided space, branding Nigeria “Abegistan.” They knew. They ignored it. The media calls itself the 4th estate—holding power accountable. But today, News Central TV behaved exactly like the power they claim to scrutinize: Selective participation. Managed dissent. Silenced voices.. If the press cannot tolerate scrutiny from the public—the so-called 5th estate—then it forfeits the moral authority to demand accountability from government. You cannot demand accountability and suppress it at the same time. You cannot preach transparency and practice exclusion. You cannot preach Democracy be a "Sankaraist" As for the lack of voices, i am very far from being anything in the APC, but if i am unavailable i have enough intellectual Nigerian friends on X who support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and believe he is doing an amazing job. He is a Lion among men. And as for the challenge from uncle Ilemona, i am tempted but no thanks. I may be willing to attend if you can find a neutral ground and a time convenient for me cause i run a tight schedule. “I don’t have time to sort my health out now.” Bullsh*t. What you don’t have is an effective solution. We must divorce the idea that time is what’s required to fix your health issues. If I were to give you a pill with a 100% success rate to reverse your health condition, you would take it and be pretty happy, correct? Right. So now we can agree that time isn’t the defining factor. It’s the delivery mechanism and the chances of success. And you simply do not have the time or energy to find or create this solution. And nor should you. You have other things to worry about. Which is why you call in a specialist to help. If you had a burst pipe in your home, you’d call in a plumber. You wouldn’t try to learn their trade with water seeping through the walls. Because they've already dedicated the time to master the problem that you’re facing. If anything, trying to fix it yourself would only make it worse. Guessing your way through, throwing sh*t at the wall to see what sticks. When it comes to your health issues, I’m your plumber. I’ve put in the reps. In-fact, I live and breathe the art of reversing health conditions. And I know the one reason you’re reluctant to call me… It’s expensive. Well, today, it’s not. For less the $100/month you can work directly with me to finally kick your nagging health issues. A fully personalised approach to solve your health puzzle, including: ✅ Personalised Program Every 3mo ↳ Detailed Health History ↳ Up-To-Date Root Cause Analysis ↳ 12-Week Supplement Protocol ↳ Behavioural Synergies ↳ 7-Day Meal Plan ✅ My Complete 12-Step Health System ↳ 4hr38min Self-Guided Course ↳ Interactive Notion Dashboard ↳ Guided Walkthrough’s & Breathwork ✅ Private Platform & 24hr Support ↳ Ask Questions Whenever You Need ↳ Coaching From Me & The aura. Days ago, I was honored to interview Marcus Coleman, the father of Dalilah Coleman, who was severely injured after an illegal immigrant driving a semi-truck crashed into the vehicle she was in. This interview will be featured in my upcoming documentary, "The Illegal Highways," where we discuss not only how illegal immigrants are able to get behind the wheel of a semi-truck, but also the Americans who have suffered because of it. Marcus describes in great detail the evening he received a call that his five-year-old daughter had been in an accident. At first, he was unsure of the seriousness of the situation. It wasn’t until he received another call from EMS stating that his daughter was being airlifted to the hospital that he realized her condition was far worse than anyone could have imagined. He openly explains the confusion that persisted until he finally laid eyes on his daughter. Hospital workers couldn’t find her at first because she had been admitted under an alternate name, and he grew increasingly frustrated with the lack of help locating his child. I could never imagine what he experienced as a father — walking into a hospital and seeing his frail daughter connected to machines, watching her condition initially get worse. In the video attached, I clipped out six minutes of him describing his experience of watching his daughter barely survive this ordeal, including multiple health scares that many thought she would not overcome. Thankfully, she is alive, but she is not the same little girl as before. Today, she is seven years old, non-verbal, and can only walk with assistance. I met Marcus in D.C. because he has been working with the federal government to help draft legislation that would curb illegal immigrants from obtaining CDLs and strengthen enforcement — all with the objective of preventing another tragedy like Dalilah Coleman's. The full interview was over an hour long. Of course, with a documentary, you only see a small percentage of it. However, I wanted to write this to express to the world what I took away from this experience. It is not often that you find people who are willing to sacrifice for a greater cause. Marcus isn’t trying to chase fame or run for office; he’s just trying to do the right thing. When I asked him what it was like being at the State of the Union and having the President acknowledge their situation, he explained that he sees these moments as part of the process and not as moments of excitement. This response I can completely understand. He would rather have a happy and healthy daughter than anything else in the world. His family was forced into this position by systemic failures, which the documentary will explain. As Marcus put it in the interview, he’s doing the job that politicians should be doing. The man is sacrificing his time, flying back and forth between California and Washington, D.C., to fight for a greater purpose. I found him to be a very honorable and genuine man who is striving to create a safer world for Americans. Most importantly, he is a man of strong Christian faith who openly acknowledges that it is his faith that has kept him together throughout this entire ordeal. One of the most powerful stories he told me was about meeting the man who almost killed his daughter. He had so much anger and hatred toward him — until he looked into his eyes. He saw a young man, a soul, and decided at that moment to forgive and let go of that rage. He chose to forgive him, but not to forget. Not forgetting has allowed him to fight for a greater cause. This documentary isn’t about dehumanizing anyone, including the illegal immigrants behind the wheel. I understand — more than the average person — how many of these men are brought to America under false pretenses and are essentially indentured servants who have to drive a truck twice as long as the average American trucker. The purpose of making this film is to tell the stories of the people caught up in this systemic failure. We often lose sight of the families who wake up every day knowing they will never talk to their spouse, sibling, or child ever again. I want their stories heard around the world so that we, the American public, also don’t forget that there are real innocent lives at stake. I am still crowdfunding for this project. If you’d like to support it, you can donate on GiveSendGo:

Despite being abandoned by my father as a child, if he were still alive, I would be open to starting a new relationship with him. The last time I spoke to him, I was 21 years old and a new father. I wanted to tell him about his grandson, but he didn’t seem interested in talking to me. I told myself that I wouldn’t attempt to call him anymore, but I would never ignore his calls if he tried to reach me. Unfortunately, he never did. ------------------------------------ I talk more about my relationship with my father in my new book "The Children We Left Behind" Purchase a copy from Amazon: or directly from Wrong Speak Publishing: ------------------------------------- As I’ve gotten older—and especially watching my son become an adult—I’ve thought a lot about mortality and the fragility of life. I often reflect on my mistakes as a young adult and my ambivalence toward my parents because I hadn’t yet learned to forgive. When you’re a child, you think adults have it all together, and you expect them to be more than they really are. That one time they screwed up sticks out in your head more than the hundreds of times they sacrificed for you. I’ve tried to be the best father I possibly can be, but I’m sure there were a time or two when I unintentionally let my son down. In an era where everyone thinks they’re always right yet holds higher expectations of behavior for others than they themselves can live up to, we are severely lacking in the area of giving grace and leaning on forgiveness. Instead, we tell people who are having relationship issues to excommunicate others forever, but running from your problems doesn’t resolve them. There are valid times to go no-contact with someone in your life, but the number of times I’ve heard poor reasoning for disconnecting completely from parents is shocking to me. Social media is rife with terrible advice, encouraging people to see a single flaw in someone they love as enough reason to shut them out of their life. I’m speaking from experience when I say this: You can’t resolve a relationship while simultaneously running from it. The only way to fix a fractured relationship is to confront it head-on with love and honesty. And if the person you’re having issues with isn’t hearing you, then you should give them the grace of patience until they lower their guard enough to receive your message. Recently, I was talking to a father who has been struggling to have a relationship with his children for years since his divorce. Every time he tries to get close to them, they push him away. Just as much as it hurts children to be rejected, it hurts parents when they’re pushed away too. What I explained to him was that he should never give up and that he needs to be 100% accountable for his actions. From a parent’s perspective, you might have a hard time understanding why they’re angry with you, and their reasoning might not make sense from your point of view. Parents can often get stuck in the mud of factual differences compared to their children’s emotional interpretations. If you’re in this situation and falling into the trap of debating their emotions, step away from it. It’s a losing battle to engage in this type of back-and-forth because, from the child’s perspective, it comes off as you disregarding their feelings. Is the point to be right or to re-establish a relationship? I’ll never tell someone to take ownership of something they didn’t do, but you can acknowledge their emotions and how they’re feeling. Everyone wants to be accepted, and if you’re a child who feels rejected, the last thing you want is to experience the rejection of your emotional interpretations. If you’re a parent striving to re-establish a relationship with your child, my suggestion is that you don’t give up on them. Work on their timeline and understand that if they’re rejecting your attempts, they just want you to feel the hurt they’re experiencing. However, I believe that repeated attempts of love will eventually break down that hardened wall. Acknowledge their pain, apologize for what you did or what you could have done better as a parent, and give them time to absorb your efforts. The reason I would give my father an opportunity to be in my life is that I understand we are all flawed, and many of us live with regrets—I know I do. The way my life has turned out, I’ve come to understand the importance of giving others grace for their shortcomings and embracing forgiveness. I don’t harbor any anger toward my father because I can’t fix the past, and he’s no longer alive to potentially mend our broken relationship. I forgave my father years ago because being angry at him never helped me grow as a man. I would give anything to have a chance to really get to know him, and it saddens me when I see people believing that tomorrow is guaranteed. That person you cut off from your life might be gone tomorrow, and you won’t have a chance to resolve your differences. Personally, I wouldn’t want to carry that on my conscience, knowing I was too scared or resentful to fix a relationship with someone I loved. Giving people grace is a blessing. It’s about time we bless the world.

I honestly cringed watching our Mityana MP hopeful Proscovia Mukisa on Baba TV declaring she’d love to sit on “the Entertainment Committee” .... a committee that doesn’t even exist in Uganda’s Parliament. My heart broke a little, not out of malice, but from sheer disbelief. How does someone aspiring to legislate not know the basic structure of the House she dreams of joining? How kind of qtns was she asked by the "Independt EMC" to beat her opponents for the party card?? Let's hide this clip from Ssemujju Nganda at all costs ..... that man will cook us for days. He’s been on that elitism rant against “wheelbarrow politicians,” and this right here would be his golden meal. We can’t afford to hand him more firewood. It’s moments like these that remind us that civic literacy isn’t optional... it’s oxygen for credibility. When our candidates mix up committees and fantasies, the whole party bleeds in public. It becomes our job to do damage control for something that basic preparation could have prevented, and shallow minded extremists will call us names(Ntambi okolera ani ddala?)... To put that qtn to rest, I'm simply a liberal critical thinker... someone who believes in free inquiry and open debate, who relies on logic and evidence to form opinions, and who strives to balance personal conviction(this case I'm NUP) with social responsibility. So honestly, if my sister Proscovia wants a fighting chance against the incumbent Joyce Bagala or NRM's Nabakooba, she can’t afford these blunders. Those two are seasoned... they’ll use such clips to paint her as uninformed and unserious. I’ve started fearing for her campaign already. My humble advice? She should stay far, far away from live interviews and microphones.....at least until she’s read the Parliament Handbook cover to cover. Because right now, the only committee she’s likely to end up on is the Public Committee of National Embarrassment.
