I can already see the tree I'd ski into. If this perspective became interactive, I'd need cheap attempts more than a heroic opening shot. Vivix W1's $0.003/sec would make another eight generated seconds $0.024, with fast generation and comparable quality. That's a useful starting point for a real-time interactive...

A render running since Tuesday makes Sheldon's triangle feel less like a theory and more like a complaint. I'd be interested in his response to $0.003/sec with fast generation and comparable quality. That's Vivix W1's proposed correction, and for a real-time interactive video model it matters every time you ask for something else. You can't have an ongoing exchange on Sheldon's rendering schedule.

this changes what AI video can even be $0.003 per second of AI video. that's not a typo. for the price of ONE Seedance 2.5 video, you can generate almost 80 W1 videos of the same length. and here's the part that makes it insane: it's not slower and it's not lower quality. an 8 second video generates in about 8 seconds, at quality comparable to the top models. cheaper, fast, and good. usually you pick two. Vivix.AI just brought all three together. but the price isn't even the real story. W1 is a real-time interactive video model. video that generates as an experience unfolds, so you can interact with what happens next. real-time means it keeps generating the whole time someone's using it. longer sessions, more users, more video, more cost. that only works if every second is cheap. $0.003/sec is what finally makes interactive video practical to actually run. i want to make a scene where even i don't know how it ends. honestly, giving up that control sounds fun. (real-time is live via the API now, browser tools coming soon) save this.

Letting Michael keep improvising sounds expensive. At $0.003 per generated second, Vivix W1 at least makes the video part more manageable. That's why his switch from “pick two” to “pick three” lands: a real-time interactive video model needs to afford the next unscripted moment while generating quickly and maintaining comparable visual quality. Watching Dwight spray him, I'm less confident the office has budgeted for everything else.

I spent the morning running cost projections for live interactive video, and the math on conventional models is completely broken for production. That is why Vivix.AI's W1 model caught my attention. At $0.003/sec, I can trigger nearly 77 equal-length W1 generations for the API cost of a single Seedance 2.5 call. When you build applications where video generates non-stop as users interact, unit economics dictate whether your project survives. This affordability is what makes W1’s identity as a real-time interactive video model practically usable. API access is active today, though browser playground tools are currently offline generation only while real-time updates roll out. Looking at their 4-way comparison with Seedance 2.5, Kling 3.0, and H3 Max fal featuring the slow-motion sneeze window shatter, W1 holds its visual fidelity remarkably well. You still see minor physical artifacts in high-density glass debris while full-scale model training progresses, but solving the real-time inference cost curve is the exact infrastructure breakthrough I was waiting for. The numbers that put W1 on my production shortlist 👇

damn... they literally put Elon and Sam Altman on an AI survival island and the audience controls them with prompts this is the wildest use of real-time interactive generation I've seen lately. drop a prompt and see if you can break it:

AI meets 3D anatomy? I made a real-time interactive 3D cat that reacts to your cursor with head tracking and tail movement. The skeleton, organs and rig were generated with AI using Omma AI and rendered with Three.js. Curious if you would actually use something like this.

Here’s why your setup is the real game-changer... Ever notice how the pros spend WAY more time on setup than actually swinging? There’s a reason! 🎯 Your downswing happens in 0.25 seconds - too fast for your brain to make most quality fixes. But your setup?

Treeo is an interactive voting game where you can clown on other users' opinions in real time I wanted all the reactions people send to feel continuous and ambient, so I tried to make them feel like they're floating past you in a stream

ClickUp is working on agents that build custom user interfaces on the fly. > Agents can build custom interactive blocks, with buttons, editable fields, and embedded charts. > Agents decide what the user needs to see and construct an interactive experience in real time. > Clicking or editing inside a generated block can fire an action directly. Agents will be able to create a working code block that responds to users' input, built in the moment for the task at hand.

💡HunyuanVideo1.5 Update: We are now releasing the 480p I2V step-distilled model, which generates videos in 8 or 12 steps (recommended)! On RTX 4090, end-to-end generation time is reduced by 75%, and a single RTX 4090 can generate videos within 75 seconds. The step-distilled model maintains comparable quality to the original model while achieving significant speedup. For even faster generation, you can also try 4 steps (faster speed with slightly reduced quality). 🔗Check out the GitHub Repo:

You can actually interact with the world simulator directly in the browser. 🤖 Here is a quick screen recording (8x speed) of me playing with it: real-time action-conditioned video prediction across rigid objects, deformable objects, rope, and object piles. Try it yourself (no install required): Huge kudos to my student Yixuan Wang for making the interactive demo happen!

Most AI video tools are stuck in a loop, you generate, change the prompt, and wait again. Vidu S2 is pushing things forward by making generation interactive. You can edit the video while it is being created. Change the style, swap the background, or switch outfits in real time. If you drop in a new image, the video adjusts instantly without awkward cuts. Under the hood, it combines real time 720P output with an AI agent that actively watches the video to plan what happens next. It allows you to change reference images on the fly, powered by a model optimized specifically for live streaming. This opens up massive possibilities. Imagine viewers controlling visual changes during a livestream, people transforming into game characters, or shoppers trying on different looks live. The entire S Series is available for a free trial right now so you can test it yourself. Use my code PANDAS2 with the link below to grab 300 bonus credits to explore the other features. The new Krea 3D feature is insanely good. You can turn an image into a 3D model to move & rotate in space - and it guides real-time scene generation. Watch me move this couch around a living room ⬇️

Here's a first look at the NBA's new interactive LED glass court for this year's all-star weekend. The court will display replays and stats directly on the floor and it can also rotate through sponsors in real-time. The future is going to be wild.

We built an interactive 3D module to teach kids about what temperature does to water. - You adjust the temperature in real time - You see the impact on the state of water and what's changing at a molecular level - You can unlock two secret states in there if you pass a quick quizz This is the first of a giant series. We're turning the open source Marble App curriculum into a full bank of these interactive lessons. One for each topic kids learn in primary school. If you are a parent or primary school teacher, let us know in comments which module you want to see next. Link to play with the water lab below 👇

you are making video games all wrong for decades almost all game art time went into reverse-engineering the end result you start with concept art of what you WANT it to look like. then for YEARS you walk the computer backwards into something it can process: a rendering engine, 3d assets that fit that engine, and a gamer’s local hardware that has to turn all of that back into a high fidelity image incredibly slow. incredibly expensive. but it was the best we had ai makes that pipeline faster as everyone is figuring out today. but they’re missing the real unlock: YOU DON’T NEED THAT PIPELINE AT ALL if you have a reference for the end look, you don’t model it in 3d. you don’t reverse-engineer into an engine you keep a very basic greybox model of the world as the source of truth, and track every entity in real time. it doesn’t need to look good at all… the player never sees it! a fast video model turns that into the “game” in real time. it doesn’t have to look like a game. it can look like a 2d cartoon or cinematic live action fal’s h3 max is very fast. astra 6 low-effort too. neither is fully realtime yet but together they can generate continuous, coherent, player-controlled scenes, faster than playback early demo:
