this changes what AI video can even be $0.003 per second of AI video. that's not a typo. for the price of ONE Seedance 2.5 video, you can generate almost 80 W1 videos of the same length. and here's the part that makes it insane: it's not slower and...

$0.003/sec changes the economics of running real-time AI video. I’ve been testing Vivix W1, and that number is hard to ignore. The comparison shows visual quality on par with the models alongside W1. About a second of generation time per second of footage, too. But W1 isn’t just another video generator. It’s built for real-time interactive video, where the model keeps generating as the experience moves forward. Every second of that experience adds to the generation bill. At $0.003/sec, you can actually start thinking about a story that keeps going as viewers make choices. Vivix.AI already supports real-time generation through the API. The browser playground currently uses offline generation, with real-time browser tools coming soon. Continuous video is one thing. Giving viewers meaningful control is another. If I change my mind halfway through a story, how much can it actually change with me? That’s the interesting challenge. The next plot twist could be yours 👇

An hour of live AI video generation now costs $10.80 At $0.003 a second, Vivix W1 generates a full minute for just 18 cents. That price matters because of what W1 is. It's a real-time interactive video model. Through the API, it keeps generating video while the experience is happening, and you can shape what comes next. With a normal clip generator, you pay once and you're done. Real-time interactive video keeps generating as you use it. Every second generated is another second you pay for. At higher per-second rates, that bill can grow quickly. It's hard to ship an interactive product when every user session costs a fortune. With W1, the math starts to look workable. And they didn't buy that price by cutting quality or speed. In Vivix’s supplied tests, eight-second videos averaged 7.7 seconds to generate from text and 8.4 seconds with one reference image. In the side-by-side comparisons, W1 holds its own against Seedance 2.5, Kling 3.0, and H3 Max on the same prompts. An exploding taxi, a skyline shot, a robot serving drinks on a plane. It's not perfect yet: • Cinematic fidelity still has gaps • Complex motion and dense scenes still need work • Full-scale training is still underway, so this is an early checkpoint How to try it: • Real-time generation is live through the API today • The browser playground does offline generation for now. Submit a prompt and you get a finished clip. Real-time browser tools are coming soon My take: I've seen a lot of interactive video demos that would cost a fortune to run in production. This looks priced for something you could actually ship. Once a minute of live video generation costs 18 cents, interactive stories, games, and characters could become an everyday medium instead of a tech demo. What I want to see next from Vivix.AI: better complex motion. Improve that and the use cases open up fast. Put your project’s runtime into the equation 👇

$0.003 per second for video generation, without compromising on speed or visual quality? The supplied comparisons put Vivix W1 alongside leading models on visual quality. It also delivers eight seconds of video in roughly eight seconds. But the bigger story is that W1 is a real-time interactive video model. Every extra minute of interaction means more video to generate and pay for. Making generation this affordable could make interactive stories and live visuals practical to run, not just impressive demos. Live visuals are what I’m most curious about. Generating quickly is one thing; reacting at the right moment is what would make them feel live. Vivix.AI already offers real-time generation through the API; the browser playground currently produces finished clips. A closer look at what could power those live visuals 👇

AI video is hitting the same wall AI agents hit a year ago: The tech works. The economics don't. That's why Vivix.AI caught my attention. Their new real-time interactive video model, W1, generates video for just $0.003/sec while staying surprisingly fast and competitive on quality. To put that in perspective: At the supplied rates, an equal-length Seedance 2.5 clip costs about 77 times as much as a W1 clip. But the interesting part isn't cheaper clips. It's what happens when video becomes cheap enough to run continuously. Interactive stories. Live AI-generated experiences. Visuals that respond in real time. Those products only work if generation costs stay low. W1 still has room to improve on cinematic fidelity and complex scenes, but making real-time video economically viable feels like a much bigger milestone than most people realise. Here’s the W1 rate I’d use in a project estimate:

Same perfume concept. Four video models. The difference becomes obvious once the scene starts changing. Vivix W1 keeps the subject and product feeling coherent as the studio transitions into the storm. For me, that matters more than how dramatic the storm looks. An eight-second version costs $0.024 to generate. Waiting for it takes roughly eight seconds. This comparison only shows a finished clip. W1 is built for real-time interactive video, not just one-shot generation. Vivix.AI already offers that real-time capability through the API. At $0.003/sec, that also makes experimenting with interactive video workflows a lot more accessible. Letting a viewer influence how a scene unfolds would mean paying for generation throughout the interaction. Worth watching the comparison closely. The model behind the studio-to-storm transition 👇

I can already see the tree I'd ski into. If this perspective became interactive, I'd need cheap attempts more than a heroic opening shot. Vivix W1's $0.003/sec would make another eight generated seconds $0.024, with fast generation and comparable quality. That's a useful starting point for a real-time interactive video model you can actually spend time learning to use. The real-time capability is on its API; the run I'd like to try is still a possibility.

1 video with Seedance 2.5. Or 77 with Vivix W1. Same $1.85 budget. 20× faster generation. Comparable quality. Just $0.003 per second. The playground is live: W1 is built for interactive video. Making it an everyday medium is impossible without high quality, low latency, and low cost. W1 is the first to deliver all three. Under 1/50 the cost. 20× faster generation. Comparable quality. There are still gaps in cinematic fidelity, complex motion, and dense scenes. Full-scale training is underway.

What if AI could generate a world you don’t just watch but actually enter? That’s what caught my attention about PixVerse R2. You can explore the environment, interact with it, and influence how the scene unfolds around you. This feels like a step beyond AI video generation. More like AI creating a world you can experience in real time.

Imagine a livestream where the audience gets to control what happens next. With Vidu S2, you can instantly change the outfit, switch to a completely different character, or transform the world around you by clicking preset content or uploading a reference image. That’s the part of Vidu S2 I find genuinely interesting. It brings real time editing into video, with 720P output, live reference image changes, an AI agent that understands what’s happening in the video, and real time control over styles, characters, outfits and backgrounds. Most AI video tools are still focused on generating the clip. Vidu is pushing toward something more interactive. I can see this being huge for livestreams, gaming and entertainment, where viewers can actively shape what happens instead of just watching. The idea of a video responding to your input in real time feels like a very different future for AI content. Vidu S2 International Version: The entire Vidu S series is currently available for a free trial. Get 300 trial credits here: Vidu AI #ViduAI #ViduS #ViduS2

✨ I updated Photo AI's video model to Kling AI 2.6 now By default it also generates audio (like Veo 3 does) and if you prompt for it it also produces voice, and it's pretty realistic too I'd say the cadence of the voice can be improved to be a bit more real, but it's definitely getting there It's just one click, just generate an AI photo first then hover over it and press [ 📼 Make video ] It's 3x more expensive, but I sell it below cost (5 credits) so that you all sign up to Photo AI and generate your UGC influencers with me 😊 Here's my 100% AI influencer telling what she thinks of the European Commission

Do you use Runway Gen-2 to make AI videos? This is for you! I built a simple tool to help "extend" Runway videos beyond the 4 second clip limit. Just choose a video, and the tool will give you the final frame -- so that you can drop this back into Runway, and generate another AI video based on it. Let me know if this is useful to you! Link is at bottom of the video and it's live to try right now.

There has never been an easier time in history to start a faceless YouTube channel you can literally create any style of video using Claude + Higgsfield MCP… here's how you can use it: first you upload a reference video that is already working then the Higgsfield video analysis skill breaks down everything about it: style, framing, how long each beat and scene runs it then takes that style and generates a new character for your video, and gives you 4 options to pick from you pick one and give it your storyline or let it create a new proven storyline from your reference video every frame for the video gets generated with Nano Banana Pro using your character so it stays fully consistent throughout then it stitches all the frames together automatically and adds the voiceover on top you can literally make videos in 5-15 minutes because of this what a time to be alive..

not sure why nobody is talking about this but Google Omni is insane at video editing Original Video (left) vs Omni Edited Video (right) everyone is comparing it to Seedance and missing the point completely. Seedance is for generating videos from scratch. Google Omni is for editing videos that already exist. which are two completely different use cases this is like when Nano Banana 1 first came out and nobody realized how big it was going to be. this is the first AI that can actually properly edit videos.. i've generated a few hundred videos with this model and it can do literally any type of edit you can think of. changing voices, swapping characters, removing watermarks, adding captions, transitions, pop ups, whatever. if you can describe the edit you want it can do it this completely crushes every other model on the market when it comes to video editing. nothing else even comes close right now and this is just the flash model. imagine what the pro version is going to be able to do when it drops in a couple months this should have way more hype than it's getting..

LTX 2.5 JUST WENT FASTER THAN REAL TIME LTX (LTX.io) is already one of the world's most widely used open video models. We just made its latest release, LTX 2.5, fast enough for rapid iteration and affordable enough for production at scale. It’s live on TensorScaleAI now, generating a 5-sec 1080p video in just 3.12s at $0.04 per second. That's faster than real time, at a fraction of the cost! For creative teams, that means less waiting time, more ideas explored, and lower production costs. For robotics and physical AI teams, that means more data generated at scale, more scenarios tested, and shorter development and deployment cycles. Request early access today and we’ll get you onboarded! (link:

fal's release today is mind-boggling on all the benchmarks. But the most important thing to me is that they’ve shown that video models can move towards real-time direction. When you make AI generation so fast that it becomes interactive rather than minutes of prompt-and-wait, it opens up a different creative experience for designers and directors. You can iterate quickly. The work becomes truly editable. It becomes a new experience...and I think we'll see an incredible amount of innovation (both technical and creative) follow soon.

AI Is Moving Beyond “Generating Videos” — Toward “Generating Worlds” Over the past two years, AI video models have advanced at an astonishing pace. From Runway and Pika to Sora and Veo, AI-generated videos have become increasingly realistic and more consistent with the physical laws of the real world. Many people believe the next objective is simply to generate videos that are longer, sharper, and more lifelike. But if we take a step back, we can see that the real transformation is not happening in video itself. It is happening in world models. What Is a World Model? In 1943, psychologist Kenneth Craik proposed an idea that would influence artificial intelligence research for decades. He argued that the human brain does not merely react to the outside world. Instead, it maintains an internal model of how the world works. Because we have this internal model, we can predict the outcome of an action before we actually take it. Before crossing a road, we estimate whether a car will pass by. Before catching a ball, we predict its trajectory. These abilities come from continuously simulating the world in our minds, rather than relying entirely on trial and error. This idea later became known by a more formal term: World Model. A world model does not describe a single image or a fixed video clip. It is an internal representation capable of continuously simulating the rules and dynamics of the real world. Why Is AI Research Turning Toward World Models? Because predicting “what comes next” is becoming increasingly central to how AI systems work. Language models predict the next token. Image models predict the next step in the denoising process. Video models predict the next frame. A world model, however, attempts to predict something broader: What should the world look like in the next moment? In 2018, David Ha and Jürgen Schmidhuber proposed in their paper World Models that an intelligent agent could first learn a model of the world, and then use that internal model to plan its actions. The Dreamer series later demonstrated that many complex tasks could be learned by training agents inside an “imagined world.” At the same time, the development of video models such as Sora and Veo led researchers to another realization: A model capable of continuously generating video has already learned, at least implicitly, many of the rules governing the real world. As a result, these two research directions have gradually begun to converge. But Video Is Not Yet a World This is where the distinction is often misunderstood. For a world model to support meaningful real-time interaction, it must solve several critical problems. Most video models today are essentially answering one question: What should the next frame look like? A true world model needs to answer much more: What happens if I take one step forward? If I walk behind a building and then return, will the building still be there? If I suddenly change the camera angle, will the entire space remain consistent? If I enter a command such as: “Summon a dragon.” Will the world respond immediately? In other words, a world model must do more than generate content. It must understand space. It must understand time. It must understand causality. And it must understand interaction. Moving from watching to participating is where the real difficulty of world models begins. World Models Are Entering the Interactive Era One of the latest attempts in this direction is Alaya World, recently open-sourced by Alaya World, or Alaya Lab. Instead of generating a fixed video clip, it generates a world that users can explore in real time. Users can begin with text, an image, or a video, enter the generated scene, move freely through it, and introduce new prompts at any moment during generation. The world responds immediately. According to the publicly released information, Alaya World provides: Real-time streaming generation at 720p and 24 FPS Stable continuous exploration for more than one minute The ability to switch prompts and trigger skills or events during generation Model weights and inference code released under the Apache 2.0 License Training code and datasets planned for future release What makes these capabilities important is not simply the technical specifications. It is that the generated “world” can now support continuous interaction. The official demo shows that users can genuinely control, transform, and explore the generated environment. AI Is Evolving From a Tool Into an Environment Over the past few years, most discussions around AI have focused on content generation. Generating text. Generating images. Generating videos. But world models raise a fundamentally different question: Can AI generate an environment that people can inhabit, explore, and continuously evolve? If the answer is yes, the impact will extend far beyond video generation. Game development, robotics training, embodied intelligence, digital twins, virtual production, and many other fields could be transformed by the development of world models. World models are still at a very early stage. Yet from Craik’s proposal of an internal mental model more than eighty years ago to the emergence of today’s interactive world-generation systems, a clear evolutionary path is beginning to take shape. Perhaps what AI is ultimately learning has never been limited to images, videos, or language. Perhaps it is learning the world itself. References GitHub: Technical Report:

Most video tools can generate clips. Very few can maintain identity. That has been the real bottleneck in AI video creation. Kling O1 changes that. For the first time, creators can carry a character, style, and visual language across scenes without constant fixes. You can reference past clips, assets, or images and the output stays consistently on-model. No visual drift. No rework loops. No “this doesn’t look like the last shot” moments. It feels less like prompting a tool and more like working with a creative collaborator that remembers context. The impact is practical, not theoretical: → Faster production cycles → Lower iteration costs → Noticeably higher output quality This is what mature AI tooling looks like. Not louder features. Not bigger claims. Just reliability where it actually matters. Consistency is no longer the problem.

Hi THE TRUTH ☦️ I think you made a serious mistake here. The second video seems to be a mirror of the first. You can tell by virtue of the fact that in the first video, the left arm is flexing with the left leg. And then the second video, it’s reversed. Do you not understand what that likely means?

Rumor has it Dreamina is adding a new member to the Seedance family. Dreamina Seedance 2.0 mini reportedly launching June 15 could deliver quality close to Seedance 2.0 at nearly half the cost. If true, this changes the game for creators who love Seedance but feel the burn on video generation costs. High-quality AI video is getting cheaper. That's great news for everyone building with it. A model that costs less than half the price doesn't just change the spec sheet it changes how often you actually hit "generate." 🔗 Looking forward to what Dreamina announces next. #dreamina #dreaminaseedance2mini #AIVideo
