In the code you are drawing onto the RealityKit plane. Why do you need the LayerRenderer at all? Is it just to get the renderViewTransforms and renderTangents? (need to read more)

this code judders if you go even slightly above 11ms in draw time, and it's unavoidable because RealityKit doesn't give access to frame timing. Basically I need a guarantee that the plane pose + the rendered texture are updated atomically. Also, no spacewarp = nausea risk.

I'm not very familiar with the vision pro, what's this environment being drawn in the whites/greys? is that something you arranged or the apple vision putting irl objects into a virtual space and showing their "hitboxes"?
