Therapist Trey Tucker came on Relatable to talk about anxiety. I asked him, "If you could define anxiety, how would you define it?" Tucker: "Fear of the future. Fear of the unknown. The verse, 'Be still and know that I am God' used to make me so angry. I'm like, God, what do you mean be still? Like, I got a real problem here. I'm in a storm. Why do you want me to just be still? And what I realized is that the word, and I believe it's "Rapha" in the Hebrew, it doesn’t mean just ‘don’t move.’ It means ‘release your grip.’ The idea that I thought that I had control, that was a lie anyway. If I can start to realize like, yes, the circumstances might happen that are negative or I might be in the middle of a battle right now, but if I can loosen my grip and stop white knuckling it, then I can realize that like oh—God is God, not me, and He’s going to take care of me no matter what happens. That really is the solution to anxiety. It’s not changing your circumstances or slapping meds on it.”

IF YOU SPIN A FEW MIN A DAY YOU REVERSE AGING, RAPIDLY, 1 OF 9999999999 BENEFITS OR CURES HOW TO SPIN: Move from left to right, spinning around and focusing your vision on your left thumb. ✨ I can now generate 3d assets for my drone sim at directly from Cursor (sponsor of #vibejam) I need buildings that you'd see in a war torn city, like warehouses in ruins, broken down abandoned houses, bombed out bridges etc. Nano Banana Pro or 2 can generate them really well and then you can put them in an image-to-3d model and you get a GLB or FBX That one you can then import into your Three.js game, the models might be big though, in my case like 16MB, so I ask it to compress it and make it more low poly so it loads fast ThreeJS then loads the individual GLBs on page load and puts them in my drone sim somewhere randomly, I think I should remove some of the grass and match the sandy color of the ruins though to make it fit in more

I actually don’t think I ever thought that I would be able to make things at this scale. Sometimes with that scale I suppose it’s humorously glamorous, but also it’s sometimes not. There is still a human being at the center of it […] As a human being, like my work, I’m very contradictory. I can be unbelievably happy and confident, but I can also be really, really depressed and sad […] I love creating things, but sometimes that can be really painful to do that. It can be painful to make things especially I find more so in this day and age. That’s really confusing for me because I’ve put my entire identity into the things that I make […] I’ve invested so much of myself into the things that I make, emotionally. Sometimes making things feels really stressful and embarrassing, but then sometimes it makes me feel alive. I don’t know who I would be without the things I make.”

I continue to share my progress in my recovery after this massive stroke and the coma and pneumonia that kept me in the hospital for over three months in the beginning of the year I hope that by sharing my experience strength and hope, I can help others who’ve been through something similar. That you are not alone!!! I admit it is an absolute miracle that I am here with you. So I am smiling and willing to do whatever it takes to improve my health. And As in every day I have to thank you for the prayers and support that helped carry me through and this far.

mark explained the confidence behind his big decision “that kind of thing felt so precious. i mean, even putting aside security, money, all these things.. the fact that i still had something i wanted to achieve. that felt so precious. ive always wanted to do things well, to really reach the top in everything. as someone who wakes up every day with this drive to live at my best, i began to wonder, “what does ‘the best’ actually mean? and whats my ultimate dream? what is the greatest thing i can leave behind in this life, in this world?” so everything started connecting. and if this is the greatest dream i believe in, then i needed to commit to it with my absolute best effort. honestly, everyone in this world is living by their own standards and who you are depends on, the standards you live by. but honestly, ive always had a bit of a loser mindset, what a man should be? and i never felt like that matched who i am. ive always had a complex about that, like rough or edgy and not too exemplary either. but suddenly i got confused about all that. i ended up talking about it to david, david kept asking me “what is that coolness you have in your head?” that made me dig deep and really think. i realized i should actually live by what’s ‘good’ and i need to express that through music. so i found this dream of showing ‘goodness’, i want to show the world what real goodness is and making music like that. ultimately, for the next generation.. i really want to show the next generation what that is. so my dream became very clear. you can be good and also be cool, i want to create a new kind of cool. i truly want that and i want to live it and achieve it in my own life. i realized this is truly something worth dedicating your life to.”

“breakdown.” OUT NOW!!! 🖤 I wrote this song because it’s been the hardest year for me mentally. I feel myself changing and throughout my life I’ve never felt good enough, it’s just been the main thing that on the one hand has driven me forward but on the other, has eaten me up. For as long as I can remember I have felt constantly afraid of how quickly my head can turn dark. It’s always been so hard to me fight the darkness that I inevitably have. A lot of people will say it’s a phase and it will go away. But it doesn’t and the reality of the situation is I have to find strategies to allow it to exist and to deal with it as a constant. A lot of us can feel like our lives are insignificant. We can feel like we have no purpose, so what is there to live for? The inexplicable darkness inside our heads can consume us. It can make it hard to get out of bed in the morning, force us to cancel plans, or back out of opportunities last minute. This song was written as a message to myself to try and exist alongside my insecurities and my darkness by grounding myself and remembering what is real in life and that the world is so much bigger than me. In the past my art has been about highlighting the pain and letting the world know that it is there, in order to relate to others but now I want to beat it. This song is a gateway to where my new music is heading. Embracing the light, realising what’s beautiful in the world and fighting the darkness - not wallowing in it. It’s about getting out of your head and noticing the world around you, the things and people. Connect with them, the chances are they probably feel the same. Don’t let the bullshit inside your head consume you. It just wastes precious time and life potential. Remember what is real. Help people, be kind, help the world, help yourself. You’re probably living more than you think.
