I collected a sample using tape that they are now escaping from and this is what I seen under magnification. Like they're mating or something

This is my dog's water bowl. I dumped it yesterday and put fresh water. We had rain this morning. And a crazy fog for the past week. This has never happened before. I've never seen anything like this. Come on X do your thing someone tell me what the fuck this is! 🧵

looks like cooties

Decided to ask grok.

Yeah I asked him to. This post has gotten out of control. But still on that they just showed up that was a clean Bowl yesterday

THEYRE SPRAYING THE SKIES WITH SPRINGTAILS!

So someone discovered that these are water fleas so I googled to see if they are a vector for disease..

There are more than 8,200 species worldwide

I've said several times I think they're dropping parasites on us

Spring tail nymphs. I keep colonies I use them to keep my tarantulas habitats clean.

From Grok: The tiny creatures in the image appear to be copepods, which are a group of small crustaceans found in nearly every freshwater and saltwater habitat. They are a crucial part of the aquatic food web, serving as a primary food source for many larger organisms. Their characteristic shape, with a segmented body and appendages, is visible in the image. If you're observing these in a natural water body, they're likely part of the zooplankton community.

Oh yeah for sure took one look at this, fed it into AI and I’m 100% confident there are spring something’s. I forgot the name already but definitely don’t sweat it. Clean water or not, they don’t appear to be drones so throw some peptobismol on them and call it a day. And forget that guy calling it neglect. What an asshole 🙄
