Lt Gen Mkhwanazi did not make any substantive allegations about General Khan during the 6 July conference, nor did he link him to any political parties. As such, it was mischievous to do so in his latest testimony. At the initial stage of scheduling witnesses, there was nothing substantial that would have warranted the Committee to call General Khan.
