Honestly, ever since the concert, I had this vague feeling like… “Can I really do this?” I kept thinking about whether I could stay right next to the members, without missing a single beat and manage to do all of this. It was a very vague, uncertain feeling. But at the same time, this is obviously something I have to do. I’m a member of the group, it’s my job and there are so many STAYs who are watching and supporting us so there are things that I naturally have to do. And because of that, I also wondered if I should even feel proud of myself for having gotten through this somehow differently from usual. Like, “Is it okay for me to feel proud of myself for this?” Anyway, I still haven’t really been able to let this promotion go yet, that’s because, with these music show promotions, I was the one who said that I would somehow join in. I felt like if I was going to be separated from the members even on stage ans if I just stayed by myself doing rehab and resting alone… Of course, I know that I was supposed to rest, but if I did, somehow, both emotionally and mentally, I just couldn’t accept it for myself. Everyone carries some degree of pain with them and still works and goes on living their lives. That’s just how you learn to live, I think. So even in those moments, I really hated showing it or letting it show that I was in pain. But at the same time, I couldn’t cause any problems for the others either, because you never know what might happen. What if I was performing on stage and a situation came up where I genuinely couldn’t keep going? Then, if I had to leave the stage in the middle of a performance again, someone would have to fill in for my position in the choreography. It’s easy to say but when one person is missing, someone else inevitably has to fill that space and there’s still going to be an empty spot somewhere. So, for the formations this time, since I wasn’t able to participate in the group choreography during the MV, I thought, “Let’s just focus on the meaning of me being able to stand on stage together with them while keeping the members’ original formations.”That’s what I told the company and the choreographers as well. Because you never know, I could have ended up having to leave again in the middle of a performance. So even if I was mostly hidden a little, I thought I’d just put meaning into being there together with them in the back and then come forward during my parts and do my best to make sure my face was seen. That was how I tried my best, in my own way, to get through it. Those were honestly my feelings about it. This is all really true. So I guess I feel a little bittersweet about it. In my own position, I’m genuinely doing my best. I truly mean that.

They show up in myth, architecture, temple design, timekeeping, and cosmic measurements across cultures that supposedly never met. The Great Pyramid encodes Earth’s shape and size with a precision we didn’t achieve until satellites. The longitude problem us humans couldn’t solve until the 18th century, and yet it’s embedded in a structure thousands of years older. Then you get the 108 ratio which is the Moon diameter × 108 = distance to Earth. Sun diameter × 108 = distance to Earth, both bodies, have the exact same ratio. The crazy doesn’t even end the because ancient temples from India to Cambodia are built around that same number. At some point you have to stop calling it co inky dink and admit what it looks like. My fox shooting garden defending AI robot is finally done and WORKING! 🤩 (Don’t worry it only shoots 💦 water) After months of slowly moving forward with each part I finished the last step to train a TensorFlow model on the footage of the 🦊 fox I collected hours of footage 📹 with the fox roaming around my garden, from this I labeled around 2000 images with the fox by hand ✋ Honestly, I was quite skeptical training the model was actually gonna work, maybe this was partly the reason I avoided working on this until the very end. If I couldn’t train a model to detect the fox, this whole robot would never be able to function properly. On the flipside though, with no previous experience in hardware or electronics there was a bit of a learning curve and I didn’t want to end up labeling thousands of images, training a TensorFlow model, only to fail on building the hardware. As I started building, I realized that mixing hardware and software adds quite another dimension to debugging things. At times I wasted hours debugging code in my IDE, only to realize the issue was somewhere in the electronics. Furthermore, combining this side project with a full time job and a young family, is not always easy. It can be quite frustrating, to know you only need 4 hours of concentrated effort for a small task, having to spread it out across a week of 20min increments. Then, a few months into the build I noticed the fox had stopped coming to my garden, in fact one day, I recorded her walking with 3 cute little 🐶 pups, and the next day I saw her moving out of my garden completely. Did she know I was building a robot? I had this strange mix of feelings, happy my garden was safe from poop and digging, happy she was safe with her pups, but how was I gonna finish this project if my robot had no fox to detect? For sure they would be back next year, I figured I could postpone the whole thing until next winter, but I also knew it was gonna be much harder to pick up momentum if I did let it sit there for six months. So I decided to keep working, hoping the fox would reappear,.. but she never did. As I finished labeling the footage and started training my model, I could finally see the mAP results, quantifying the precision of my object detection model. It was measuring at 78% across different metrics on detecting my fox. I quickly ran the model on some of the video footage I got from my fox. Inference speed took a hit, but it did a near perfect job detecting the fox, even when she was deep down in the grass or wizzing past in a motion blur. It took me by surprise how well it worked. With the default model I had to drop my confidence threshold way down to 15%, to recognize the fox as 🦜“bird” in one or two frames, with my custom model it followed the fox all the way down to the back of the garden! Still this didn’t solve the issue of there being no actual fox in my garden and how was I gonna wrap this project in a short timeframe. I played with the idea of putting a fox toy 🧸 on an RC 🚗 car, or borrowing a dog to run around the garden to test. Friends suggested I run around the garden in a fox costume.. what a ridiculous idea. I wasn’t really feeling the idea of running around the garden in a floppy cloth fox 🎭 costume, but had a look anyway. I came across these self inflating costumes. This actually could be perfect. Since it’s inflated, it would hold its shape super well, making it much easier to label, train and be recognized by my robot. So I got the costume and shot a time lapse of myself as a fox walking around the garden. I labeled it to around 600 images. Ran the model training again and got a mAP result of 82%. This was even better than my real fox! At this point I knew this was gonna work. So here’s the final 🎥 video, just having some fun with it. I’ll update here whenever the real fox does come back. On a final note, I’m looking for (remote) jobs in these fields of AI now: - object detection - visual generative AI - 3D (nerfs + gaussian splats) So if you know anything let me know! The Plight of Amhara Doctors under Abiy Ahmed Ali 🇪🇹's Fascist Rule in Ethiopia This was a message sent to journalist Belete Kassa Mekonnen yesterday (August 29th, 2024) from an Amhara doctor who had fled Bahir Dar, Amhara region after narrowly escaping execution by a member of the Ethiopian National Defense Force: Hi Belete, I want to address an incident that happened to me in Bahir Dar. I will withhold my name for now, I can tell you if it is necessary. I used to be a doctor in a private clinic in Bahir Dar. One day, government forces were unexpectedly passing by our clinic. The door to the clinic was open and when they saw my white coat, they barged in and said, “where are the Fano’s being treated?.” They told me that they have information that Fano fighters are being treated in the clinic. I told them there were no Fano fighters, they looked around to check. Fortunately, there were no young patients that day. They said that they have been told by informants that I have been treating Fano fighters. I told the soldier that I was there to treat all human beings, and throughout my education the main lesson I learned is to treat all human beings without discrimination. After talking to his friend, that was waiting outside, in Afan Oromo, he slapped me in the face twice and pointed his rifle at me and said, “where have you been? Have you not heard?” It was at this point that my elderly patients that I was treating, begged the soldier not to kill me, some even saying to kill them instead. As the patients got close to us, he took me out of the clinic and took me to a house with a balcony. He said to me: “Listen, we (Oromos) will not leave until we wipe out the Amhara youth and rape your women. We will leave once we infect your women with sexually transmitted diseases. It is our turn to rule. Your time to rule is over. You’re too emboldened. We are punishing you because you said you will not be ruled by Oromos. So any Amhara that does not cooperate with us will be executed. So if I execute you right now, no one would question me.” He told me to prepare myself. I was so shocked and disturbed but in that moment I decided that if I’m going to die, at least I will have to take one of these monsters with me. I went into my pocket and found a pen, and thought I would have to use that pen if necessary. The most heartbreaking part was that when the soldier was saying that “we will not leave until we wipe out Amhara,” there were two Amhara militias standing besides him. At the end I decided to say my final words. I said, “please, as a doctor I can treat you guys for free, I will even give you all the money I have in my bank account, I have a child, please don’t kill me.” Then he said, “ok, bring me 40,000 birr.” I told him I did not have the money now but I can transfer it to his account. He said to me, “ok, you will bring me the 40,000 birr at 10pm at the tree behind the Mecod military base. If you don’t bring me the money, I will come and burn both you and the your clinic down.” With a huge sigh of relief, I said ok and left. hyunjin interview 🥟❤️ ⚙️ 2160p 🥟 when i think about, how i am on stage this is the side of myself that i consider most important. so if someone asked who i am i'd just tell them to watch me perform 🥟 dancing itself has become my job its the best way to express what i want to show from deep inside even though i haven't spent the majority of my life dancing 🥟 i use dance a lot to express things i cant put into words. i love getting lost on stage when i'm truly immersed some moves come out naturally and they show the brighter side of me 🥟 as for my art its just another way of expressing myself 🥟📹 so the title is, "since theres no nail art, i used stickers and glue" 🥟 but dance is what made me who i am today so it means a lot to me its how i express my inner self. 🥟 okay! gangbakz! (red lightz) 🐺 oh~ yes~ 🥟 our unit's new stage is coming up! 🐺 escape! 🥟 yes~ 🐺 we're preparing for it now 🥟 we're going to practice! 🐺 yup! 🥟 i'm sure everyone has at least one bruise or loneliness that they dont want to show other and in this word hiding that feels like whats normal. i also have bruises and worries i want to hide 🥟 my biggest fear is.. that those insecurities will get exposed to the public. i'm scared of being caught and showing that part of me 🥟 i guess i never really wanted to be super famous i just wanted to live my life with STAY. i started to show my true self to STAY and naturally it led to more people liking us 🥟 "a wounded blade of grass smells sweater." i first heard this phrase in 2018 and it still pushes me forward to this day. i felt like it came to me during a time when i was trying to understand myself like it was telling me to hang in there. there are people that support the wounded blade of grass and thats the reason why i exist and through that i gained the strength to live on 🥟 i just want to enjoy the ride while i'm here because in the end its only the good memories that will remain. the hard parts will just fade on their own.

DEEP STATE OF MIND - THE END. Imagine the strategy: They knew they were going to be exposed with: human trafficking, pedophilia, child sacrifice, adrenochrome, slave labor organ harvesting and cannibalism ALL of them, the list is long and shameful! So they conspired & fabricated a problem (virus, aka Corona aka Covid) to distract you. They paid governments, corporations, banks, MSM, entertainment, and big pharma to roll it out to the public. Some countries even made it into a social compliance (travel, employment, public health). Knowing that it was not safe didn't matter because it would mean fewer bodies and witnesses to their #crimesagainsthumanity on the long term (and more corpses for the underground & reptilian supply). The level of manipulation is just unimaginable and immoral to a level that is unacceptable!!! But the worst for me is the consequence of society: children, innocent civilians, broken families, traumas. It didn't bother you as long as you weren't affected. It was just another day. Another war. A new country to place on the map. Another division. Another song for charity. As long as MSM does not cover those personal stories, who cares, right? It's must be just fake...
