Introducing TinyClaw 🦞 OpenClaw in 400 LoC OpenClaw🦞 is great, but it breaks all the time. So I recreated OpenClaw🦞 with just a shell script in ~400 lines of code using Claude Code and tmux. Everything works! WhatsApp channels, heartbeat system, cron jobs, and it uses your existing Claude Code plugins and setup. It’s super stable and extremely easy to deploy compared to openclaw, just install Claude Code!

You can just tell Claude Code to learn skills and it will. I asked Claude to create an app that uses tldraw and it one shotted it with sqlite db, and then I asked Claude Code to create a skill so that it could read and write on the canvas. 10 minutes later it could do it. Weirrrrdddd times.

This is Notchy -_- He stops you getting distracted when using Claude code by replacing your Macbooks notch with a terminal He lets you know when claude needs your attention And plays a sound when tasks are complete Best of all: he stops your macbook going to sleep while claude is working I built this for me, maybe you will find it useful too? As a swift developer Notchy has some custom functionality I built: - When a new XCode project is open he launches a new tab - If claude.md is detected he launches straight into claude code - Command + S saves a quick snapshot of code and I can restore from that checkpoint any time Enjoy :)

Anthropic just released a talk on building headless automation with Claude Code. Presented by Sid Bidasaria, Member of Technical Staff at Anthropic live at Code with Claude on May 22, 2025 in San Francisco. Here is what the talk covers. Headless mode lets you run Claude Code without a person actively typing prompts from inside an automated script. Instead of a live session, a script calls Claude with a pre-written instruction using the -p flag. This opens the door for Claude Code to become a piece of a much larger, automated process. In plain terms: Claude Code stops being a tool you use and starts being a service that runs on its own. What this unlocks: Scheduled tasks: Run Claude Code on a cron schedule without anyone at a keyboard. Fix linting errors across an entire codebase. Automatically. Overnight. CI/CD integration: Trigger Claude Code as a step in your build process. Open a PR. Claude reviews it, flags issues, and pushes fixes before a human ever looks at it. GitHub automation: A project manager comments "Claude fix this" on a GitHub issue. Claude reads the request, finds the code, writes the fix, and opens the PR. Multi-machine workflows: One orchestrator dispatches tasks to multiple Claude Code instances running in parallel across different repos simultaneously. Every request Claude Code would send to Anthropic gets quietly rerouted to a free model on the other side. The interface stays the same. What’s actually thinking behind it changes. Setup takes a couple of quick commands and a free API key from NVIDIA NIM or OpenRouter. Paste it into the local dashboard, pick a model, and you’re building. I replaced Claude Code’s default --worktree command with a custom one built around Ghostty, Lazygit, and Yazi. By default, Claude Code creates worktrees inside the .claude/worktrees folder within the same project. That means if you spin up 3 worktrees, you end up with 3 complete copies of your project nested inside your main project. It makes the project structure messy and difficult to manage. So I built a hook that: - Overrides the default --worktree command - Creates each branch in a sibling directory: ../worktrees/branch-name - Automatically opens Ghostty panes - Launches Lazygit and Yazi already positioned in the correct branch directory Install it with: npx claude-code-templates@latest --hook=development-tools/worktree-ghostty --yes Now each branch lives where it should, outside the main project, and your terminal environment is ready instantly.

I'm SO impressed by Claude Skills. They are the best way to package custom instructions (and code) for the agent to access. (I prefer this to Claude Code's subagents because of the way it handles context) I used the skill-creator skill (comes default inside Claude) to create a skill for designing a presentation like Steve Jobs or Seth Godin, then used that skill to create a PPT about Claude Code. Below is a walkthrough of the results. The output when using the above mentioned skill vs when i don't is so clear. I'm bullish on what this implies for both Claude web and Claude Code. Extremely powerful. Anthropic cooked! 🔥
