You can now type "&" in the Claude Code CLI to start a task in the background and teleport it to Claude Code Web!

To use background tasks, you'll need to setup Claude Code on the web and complete onboarding. It only works for GitHub repos connected to Claude Code web. Note: It does persist the conversation, but there's a bug where messages aren't displayed on the web yet.

yall are cooking insanely; still the best cli and asynch agent interestingly, due to env asynchs still struggle i'm trying to figure out my workflow for when and how the best combo arises, when to assign tasks locally vs cloud tbh i tend to just use cloud on the go for convenience but idk

it will be great if we can do this repo less
