Dogs are better than cats. I have both cats and dogs, love them equally, dogs are more fun imo. There is no point to this Belief, there is no outcome or action from it. I made it there already; that was my goal. My dream wasn't to do like... I mean, I wanted to do good programs, and I did do good programs. But I was like, "This is it. Now nothing can affect my mood like, I was already so happy." Not even the competition could affect me. The competition couldn't bring me down. Nothing could. I'm just happy to be there and so really trying to live it up. At that point, this was my last competition, so I'm honestly very excited for taking my last and for such a big one.

So, my son-in-law, Dustin, took me shooting and made this video. I brought my trusty .243 that I have not shot in close to 20 years. Some of the targets I hit with it we estimated to be about 400 yards away. This .243 was given to me when I was a boy, and I've killed all but one of my deer with it. Dustin told me he was going to make a video, but I had no idea it would be so professional and entertaining! Thanks, Dustin!

this reel absolutely gutted me tonight. hits different with two kids the same age. charlie was a fantastic debater and public speaker. he let people talk and had rational conversations with them. i will never be a charlie. but i do have a voice, and it’s time i start using it. having gone from a nobody to a moderate audience within the last year, i’ve struggled with what to do with my X account. how do i make the best use of the resources i’ve been given? well now it’s clear. my platform here is going to be about family. it will be carrying on charlie’s message to young men that having a family is the biggest blessing in life. it will be about raising good kids. eating healthy. spending quality time with them. and how there’s no greater achievement in a man’s life than that. a lunatic might have killed charlie, but it’s only starting a movement that will be bigger than anything charlie could have done on his own. the events of today will backfire massively. charlie’s assassination will not be in vain, and i’ll do my part to make damn well sure of it.

Y'all, Not Your Basic Mom is my sister from another mister. She calls her TikTok cooking show Cook It Or Don't, I Do Not Give A Shit. 😂😂😂😂 This episode is partially done but she is over. it. I have said every word and felt every single thing she is feeling at some point while trying to bake or cook for my family. This is a longer video but it's worth it if you make it to the end. Props to her for seeing this one through!

Part two, episode two. It was very clear to me. …So in this case, I actually did not outline. Because I was just using these parts of this book, and I knew these books so well at this point. Something that I did, and that I'm trying to do again now when I'm writing the new season, is I'm trying to use—Because there's a dreaminess to this show, I try to use my memory as a guide. I'm like, what do I remember? And then I try to give primacy to the stuff that I remember and that has stuck in my brain all these years with this story. So I’m like, oh I have to do that! And that's a nice way for me to kind of center things. Where if I have to do that, then it means maybe I don't have to do this, and it maybe means I want to combine or collapse different things. Because if this is going to take up—If one incident that I'm thinking of is going to take up the space in an episode that I think of as the heart, …then you don't need to do a first version of it in the same way, you know? Little things like that. That being said, for this season because I'm working with a co-writer as well, we have outlined everything. And every time, I do approach outlining like a teenager, where I'm like, [modulates voice] I don't want to. But then when I do it, I'm always like, why don't I always do this?
