Direction is not animation. This sequence is beautifully directed but their all just...standing still. All the bodies are still just being slides or zoomed

And animation wise, I aint saying it is... but the hate Invincible is getting is not justified either.

I mean, I can't see how it gets any better than what it is now. All that budget, though, is wild. We should be getting way more episodes if that's the case. If I'm not mistaken it also has very high ratings.

Those are just static images. Yeah they look good but there's very little animation going on here besides the camera panning across the image.

I think sliding pictures are just fine for many things, people need to stop idealizing the animation itself. All that matters is how it looks, and this looks good. Personally I don't like the JJK artstyle in S3 all that much.

I think you are confusing Animation with Artistic vision. the animation in this scene is not bad but is not particularly great either. what is carrying it are the visuals, the music and the voice acting.

Would rather have a “mid” animation with a great story than watching something like demon slayer just cause the fire looks beautiful in it
