I grew up on Shirley Temple, and as upsetting as it is, some of your followers need to dig a little deeper and be angry at the people who exploited and abused her instead of being mad at the messenger.

Once you know the truth, these movies are nauseating instead of delightful

Interesting she tries to keep moving her skirt down as it keeps getting hiked up. That's a subconscious reaction if not comfortable.

I never understood why this adorable child was always surrounded by men and not other children in her movies. Did a deep dive on this the other day. Now I know 😡

Don’t! This was one of my favorite movies. I never found anything bad with it. I loved the innocence of a young Shirley Temple. I love you to death but please don’t look for something that isn’t there!

I grew up watching Shirley Temple. You're reaching and bearing false witness to spark a narrative that's not even historically documented. She died at 85, never claiming anything but gratitude for her career. This post... It's disrespectful to her legacy.
