I don’t think any Smash Bros game will ever top Brawl’s Final Destination theme, It’s so phenomenal

The first 27 seconds sounds like this is the fight that will determine the fate of the universe but still sounding like just a warm up because when that 30 second mark hits shit just got personal and the REAL fight starts

There is legitimately no other Final Destination theme that feels ‘Final’. The others are fantastic battle themes, but this somehow feels like a true climax, like something, everything, could end, or be recreated all on the whims of whoever the victor is.

It won't. The closest we got was the Battlefield remix in Smash 4. It plays as the alt theme for FD on Smash 3DS.

I reckon Ultimate comes close, with the main theme in reverse working well, but they perfected it in Brawl.

I also love that the Master Hand version of the track cuts straight to the choir after the entrance ambience. And it’s an all-male choir too—like that’s HIM serenading the challenger and gassing them up with all the crazy stuff he’s heard about them (as the lyrics translate to)
