I don’t think asking ‘Do you like me?’ automatically means Nikki liked Bear back? #obsession

I think she was willing to give it a chance or talk about it if he had said yes like a big boy

Chances are, he says 'yes I do' she says she doesn't feel the same and he still makes that wish

Nikki made a point about him being a closed book so I genuinely think she was just trying to get him to be honest about it, whether or not she felt the same way but I don’t think she did, I think she was just trying to get him to get it off his chest to help him

I always believed Nikki never romantically liked Bear, only as friends. That question seems more of an interrogation, which I kinda get it on Nikki’s stand point. She would want to know if he has any romantic feelings before investing in the relationship.

The way she said she never admits when she has a crush and said if you like me now is the time to tell me and disappointment look on her face when he said as a friend i feel like she was open to it. To me she just told sarah that since she told her she likes bear

I see this as her giving Bear a chance to be honest about his feelings so that she can tell him what their dynamic is. Friends. And if that means ending the friendship, then that’s what would have to happen

And she asks him right after the freaky Nikki comment and she was annoyed. So it wasn’t her asking him in the ideal scenario. Which makes me lean towards no. But I’d say her reaction after he said no, was seemingly one of disappointment. Super ambiguous

She’s asking so she would’ve thought about it. If she wasn’t even thinking twice it would’ve been got shut down

Yall don’t remember Nikki talking about how she needed to change her life around and look for someone new/different ??

Right! It doesn't

Bear is to weird and awkward around nikki. A girl can definitely notice if a man likes her. She just wanted him to confirm it.

It’s not her asking, it’s the way she says “oh, ok good, bye..” and quickly turns away. I’ve experienced that first hand. I genuinely believe that if he’d been honest, she might’ve given him a chance.

That’s right

It's a woman. Most people think this scene is ambiguous but reality is :"Behave like a man and say it!!!"

Then why ask?

The fact she told Sarah that she sees him as a little brother means she didn’t have feelings for him at all. This was most definitely her trying to put him down in the nicest way she could have. Especially after he said freaky nikki.

but it does imply some nuance there doesn't it.
