Major George Kittle injury update after the 49ers 48-27 win over the Colts… Kittle said he doesn’t believe he suffered a high ankle sprain when he got hip-drop tackled in the 2Q. Kittle is on an absolute heater right now. Best TE in the NFL, he has 6 TD in his last 8 games and the connection between him and Purdy is dialed right now. Kyle Shanahan on Jake Moody’s future with the 49ers: “I still feel the same about him, that I believe he’ll be our guy. I mean everyone’s gotta perform and do things like that. I think he’s had a tough year. Before his high ankle sprain, he missed one… I think he was 12 of 13 before that, so I thought he was doing really well. And then had a high ankle sprain to his kicking foot. Since he’s come back he hasn’t been as consistent obviously, but I think a lot of that has to do with that (ankle sprain).”

the thing about Nico is that he rarely shows when hes in pain,, even when he injured his ankle during &day last year, he still pushed through until the concert was over. his dedication to being on stage is admirable, but I really hope he can be gentler with himself too 🥺🥺

We have video! (s/o bennett) Luther Burden - Most will point out the Left Achilles/step back but I do think he got his knee back fast enough where we don’t need to be concerned there (I’m hopeful). It honestly looks like he took a shot to the family jewels but not sure that would cause him to limp the way he did into the locker room. Hard to tell exactly how hard Burden planted on his left leg, so difficult to say if it’s intra-articular (meniscus, etc) or not. Tyrique landed more on Burden’s right leg than his left though, so I’m not really concerned about an MCL/ACL or high ankle on the left side as of now. Possibly a groin injury or a simple shot to the 🥜? Seems not too bad by video.
