@ZOrtiz99 They could get incarcerated for doing that. If they think those rats are remaining in their house alone, they are sadly mistaken. They’re causing their neighbors to get rats in their house costing them money for pest control and it’s not fair to them. Those people are sick.

Oh, well, then let me explain depression to you. There’s a point at which the rodents just kind of become your friends. Stray cats, dogs, raccoons, you name it. 🤷 Like, at least there’s something alive in the house, and you’re not alone. And sometimes, when it gets so bad, you can’t even bring it to yourself to kill insects and spiders. Because hey, they’re not harming anybody. They’re just going about their spider business, making webs, and such. It’s what they do. They’re just chilling out being spiders. Not like people who let you down and stab you in the fucking back.

I once asked someone who cleans these kinds of houses that question, and they said that for most, it's debilitating depression as they just let go. They also said that most are isolated with no support system, so their subconscious thinks that if no one else cares, then neither should they.

@ZOrtiz99 I couldn’t even watch the whole video, I have an irrational fear of rats and mice. You actually cannot live like this, there are many deadly illnesses/diseases you can get by being around rats, hantavirus is just one.

When we lived in Knoxville, we had to call the health department because we suddenly became infested with rats. I mean by the hundreds. Turns out it was the next door neighbor keeping massive amounts of trash piled up in their garage and back yard property. Our property was easy to gain control of, theirs ended up being torn down and removed due to the damage done by the rats. urine, feces, and chewing. Even the foundation of the house was massively damaged. I am definitely NOT the world's greatest housekeeper, but DAMN!

Trash one house and move to the next. 🙄 You can take a large empty barrel or trash can and lay broom against it. Then put some food in the bottom of the barrel. When the rat climbs up the broom and falls in to get the food they can't get back out. Then drive way away from your house and dump them out. Next night do it again. It won't help if you ain't going to clean though.
