Back when you were a kid, you thought every movie was supposed to end happy…there are twists & turns all the time in today’s movies…but not then, I didn’t see this one coming, the was Old Yeller… just sitting there as a kid, thinking it was another normal movie… then THAT moment hits. The room got quiet, and it felt like something real just happened. Not movie sad…real sad….I cried my eyes out that night. Old Yeller shattered that illusion…no warning, no soft landing…just a punch straight to the heart. Sitting there realizing… wait… movies don’t always end happy? That feeling stuck. Funny how growing up is just learning that life…and movies…don’t always give you the ending you were expecting. What’s the saddest movie you’ve seen?

OKAY SO I HAVE KEPT THIS CLOSE TO THE CHEST FOR WEEKS NOW THIS IS WHAT HAPPEN I FLEW FROM DTW DETROIT TO TPA TAMPA AFTER PASSING INTO FLORIDA I STARTED TO SEE COASTLINE THE BEACH AND FACING WEST AT PROLLY 20K AND DESCENDING UP TO THE RIGHT I SEE A FLIGHT AT LIKE 35K WAS SPRAYING I START RECORDING THE LADY NEXT TO ME WAS WATCHING AND THEN THIS PLANE JUST DISAPPEARED!! I learned how to use the GPU Profiler, and I was able to optimize the game enough that even I can play it at 100% resolution and around 60fps now! And that's with the screen recorder going too. Turns out there was a render target eating up about 20fps this whole time!

AI can give actors jobs, not replace them. Many years ago, I was lucky to work on the LucasArts game "Full Throttle" by TimOfLegend. I worked on the opening cinematic (back then called cutscenes!), and it was always one of my favorite games of that era, and the one I felt had the most potential to be a film. It felt like a movie. A few weeks ago, I had an idea for a new FilmSpark.ai demo: a biker bar scene. Then I said, "Hey, let's make it the bar from Full Throttle!" Just for fun. That's when I was pointed to the Peter screenplay for Full Throttle. It was cool to see someone else thought this had film potential too. After reading the screenplay, and seeing how he kept the opening cinematic mainly intact, we decided to make a proof-of-concept AI teaser, recreating the opening cinematic as accurately as we could. We used the original audio for authenticity. Hamilton Camp's Corley felt a little cartoonish on the AI character, which was weird but cool. Mark Hamill's Ripburger worked even better. Our goal is something becoming very common in Hollywood right now: using AI to create a sizzle trailer to get a film funded. Think of it as the new graphic novel. We want to use AI to get a film greenlit with real actors, shot on location, and use AI for VFX as needed. To be clear, we are not advocating for an "AI Full Throttle film." This is one way Hollywood is using AI, behind the scenes.

But I decided to use this moment to share how much pressure women, especially content creators, feel to look "perfect" all the time. Today, I hope to inspire you to see yourself as enough, not because of flaws, but because of the courage to show up as you are. We are perfect in our imperfections.
