So I just wrote something with a heart full of gratitude. I did. But then, the way I feel is that I always end up writing something that just conveys my gratitude to you all, and ah… I actually wish I could talk to you in a lighter and more casual way, but I feel like I haven’t really been able to, and I find that a bit disappointing/sad. As promised, I open-sourced the app. Introducing Inka: AI Daily Journal for BOOX devices → ← It started as an experiment: a simple screen where you can write anything and the page writes back. I showed it to my son and he absolutely loved it. Then I realized I could turn this into a daily journal app, where you can write down your thoughts and get answers back. It's low-bandwidth communication, yes. But that's a feature, not a bug. I find myself focusing much better while drawing _random_ things on paper. And so I turned the one-screen experiment into a full app. You can configure the AI provider, persona, writing animation, handwriting font & style and even an experimental handwriting synthesis for a more realistic feel.
