Why I Eat Raw Meat I now exclusively eat entirely uncooked meat. Steak, ground beef, raw fish, raw eggs and raw dairy to; I don’t cook it when I eat it. Why would I do this? Put simply, cooking/heating breaks down the food (just like when fires burn to ash, just on a smaller scale). This degrades nutrition, destroys water soluble vitamins, decreases absorption of nutrients, destroys enzymes and creates carcinogenic chemicals, making food harder to digest, and lower in available nutrition. For elite digestion, only eat raw meat. I can tell you that I have tested both cooked and uncooked meat now, and raw meat wins. Plus, it’s super convenient to have no cooking or cleanup! I need to eat less meat for the same hunger, I digest meals better, have less bloating, less water retention, heal and recover better from the gym and have more energy in general. When I eat, I feel like I can go for a run straight after. That’s how we should feel, not heavy and sluggish. Think about it, you’ve eaten a rare steak - you’re pretty much eating it raw, all it is is just not cooking the outside edges either. Think about the difference you feel between a rare steak versus eating a well done steak. The overcooked one is gross, heavy, tough and bad to eat. Heat destroys nutrients and the life force of energy in foods, so eating a raw diet rich in foods like raw meat, raw bone marrow and raw dairy are some of the most powerful ways to get the animal based nutrients your body needs to repair itself.
