That doctor just prevented a lifetime of doctor office panic attacks and medical environment induced hypertension. Good on that doctor.

I was a nurse for a long time, some docs have it and some don't. This guy was meant for pediatrics.

My mom and nurses would have to hold me down for shots...so my mom was very WTF when I started getting tattoos. She was like, OH NOW YOU DON'T MIND NEEDLES?!

At the pediatric hospital where I get most of my medical care it’s “would you like the numbing spray?” and “we can do the IV after anesthesia if that’s better for you” and at adult hospitals it’s “suck it up and get stabbed”
