Ummm, someone needs to look up Easter traditions in the Czech Republic and "pomlázka". 😬😬😬 Willow-sprig-woven whip used to whip all women on Easter Monday. Made me hate being a woman. My first dog attacked anyone who approached me with it. He was a very good boy. ❤️

I just came to know about this tradition after news on TV. What gets me the most: They want to hold on to this strange tradition. Okay. But why do they hit so hard? Why not just playing to hit? That in the year 24 nobody was thinking that this was wrong on so many levels?

Ah, good old rural traditions! Add Oktoberfest and the likes: drunk 40+ males drooling over teenage girls/waitresses in Dirndls. Add Fastnacht in southern Germany: drunk guys dressed as witches/devils put women/girls in cages temporarily. Can be all fun but can also be not.
