What grind my gears most is when they tend to label LMW as “idiot” and “uneducated. Little they know that LMW questions and sentiments he portrayed in parliament are the words and feelings of ordinary Singaporeans. Dismissing him is like dismissing the ordinary Singaporeans. To the informed masses, yes you get it why some of LMW’s questions can be a waste of time but they are still questions and concerns that needed to be addressed at the national level. That is the job of an MP in the first place. MP represent the voice of the people and should not be filtered just because it is “stupid”.
