She also had one when she heard the Warden's cane hitting the floor before her cell door opened and she was set free by Cait. She even very nervously rolled her shoulder. I've mentioned it before - she's FULL of anxiety and emotional pain it shows up in her physical body. During danger situation she's capable of controlling it bc she has to focus on something else. But outside of danger/stressfull situations it's not that easy. And we all know it gets worse before it gets better... So yeah, I hc her dealing with panic attacks too. It makes perfect sense after everything she was forced to go through.

and I fear it would be way worse after all she went through in s2 and also having nothing to distract her from it like getting her sister back 😕

@lesbedie God, she absolutely does. It’s so subtle that it’s easy to miss, but it makes me feel so seen BECAUSE of how subtle it may be. Not all panic attacks are obvious, and are easy to recognize. But if you’ve been there, you recognize the signs.

also 1x02 next to the bridge and little memorial she looked visibly uncomfortable and almost like in pain & we hear sounds of explosion which is pretty much her having ptsd. she had similar moment on the bridge in 1x07 with flickering lights

Her way of regulating her emotions I think, she starts hyperventilating before Caitlyn kisses her too. it’s more subtle than in these clips though.

yeah definitely, wasn’t denying the panic these scenes. just pointing out the similarities in her breathing just before she kissed cait. It’s gay panic. lol

Only when she’s alone She has an over-developed survivor mode, she’s not gonna crack unless she’s absolutely convinced no one’s gonna see it until she moves in with Cait

unfortunately I don’t think moving in with cait will magically “fix her” it’s more complex than that she has severe ptsd and now that she has nothing to distract herself with I fear it will only get worse before it gets better but caitlyn will definitely help her along the way

Yeah, actually having Cait occupy the space of ‘caregiver’ in her head is gonna help her actually unwind and heal

they take care of each other it’s a mutual thing which is why it’s healthy 😌

So what are your headcanons for their kids? I like to think their firstborn is a chronically quiet, dutiful boy that’s such a good heir they’re comfortable spoiling the hell out of their future children He’s looks like a male version of Cait, but even taller

realistically I don’t think they’ll have any children but if they did it would NOT be a boy 😭

Yes!! she had one like that in s2 when jinx left her her panics are often followed by irrational behavior like hurting herself by punching the wall 😕
