I fixed these "Aussie" posters and made them accurate. With AI and zero artistic talent I was able to create better art than the original alleged "artist". Words have meaning and those meanings don't change to suit your delusions or evil political agendas. 🇦🇺 Aussie pride ✊🏻

Ronda Rousey: What made me exceptional as a martial artist is my grasp of martial arts. Everything that I did in the cage was unprecedented and witty and really smart...Like, people compared me to Mike Tyson, but it wasn't that I was so much stronger or bigger or faster than everybody. Because I'm an incredible martial artist and your mind doesn't stop working on those things. That's one of thing that just gets better and better with time. And, so what made me the best is better than its ever been because I have more experience and because I am older.

Harry about Aperture “Yeah, I think that song was the last song that was made for the album. So it kind of ended up being this really perfect mission statement of what a lot of the album was about. I think the opening and kind of allowing for more things and in turn allowing for more positive things to come into your life was a lot about what this song and this album as a whole was about for me. And also the kind of openness to like be accepting of transitions and be accepting of flaws and your own mistakes and being able to look at those things and go I was wrong there or I didn't behave, in line with who I want to be there. And being able to like acknowledge those things and therefore go through a change and make some changes you want to make is like more powerful than kind of denying them or you know refusing to change at all.” - BBC Radio 2

I went to Arizona, and when NAU beat my Wildcats, I made zero excuses. I don’t care how bad Arizona was. NAU is an FCS program with nowhere near the talent or resources, walked into Tucson and won. What a moment for NAU. Congratulations to them! I was genuinely so happy for those kids and that entire program. Making excuses just takes away from what they accomplished. Give credit where it’s due.

Madonna reveals the meaning of Bring Your Love with Sabrina: the song was born from her struggle between artistic integrity and the pressure to follow trends, algorithms, and what was considered "popular" while working with Stuart Price. As she recalls, everyone was telling her, "You should do this, you should do that," but she found that mentality to be "the antithesis to art and creativity." That's why the lyric "Don't try to distract me with numbers, I did it all for love" is so important. In Madonna's own words, "I don't want to think about streaming numbers when I'm writing a song. I need to tell the story." For Madonna, music begins with love not metrics.

PRESIDENT TRUMP: I have a big decision to make. Will a deal be made with Iran that lets them rebuild and create a far greater country than it ever was before — maybe one of the greatest in the Middle East or even the world? Or do I annihilate the Islamic Republic, and do it quickly, never giving them a chance to kill and destroy again? Do I drive them into hell with no chance of survival and no hope of future greatness?

There's billions of market cap right now listed on NASDAQ and NYSE of Chinese companies that I have to compete with. I have to pay for the compliance costs, I have to be transparent, I have to abide by the law, and they don't. They raise money with the same bankers I use and I have to compete with them and they're not being transparent. They have to get delisted. As soon as Atkins gets sworn in, start delisting these Chinese companies. This law was modified to only give them two years to abide and actually comply and they didn't. So delist them. Why should I have to compete with them? Let's squeeze them.

Lerer Hippeau's Ben Lerer describes his "up or out" policy for talent: "Up or out - this is not a business to hang out in. I don't have the patience, and I don't think people in this business should have the patience, to wait 10 years to see what performance looks like." "You have to decide early if you feel like people have the right instincts, if they're able to identify talent with their gut, and if they're able to win people over. I think you have to make bets the same way you do in professional sports."

ELON: AI IS OUTSMARTING DOCTORS - I TOLD YOU THIS WAS COMING "I don't want to blow your minds, but AI is going to be big. If you go back even five years ago, I was saying AI is going to be this massive thing — that deep superintelligence is smarter than the smartest human. People thought I was kidding, and they thought that was ridiculous. Now the latest AIs are able to pass complicated tests better than most humans. They can pass the medical tests better than like 80% of doctors or something like that." Source: Elon Musk Mark Penn January 9th 2025

For generative AI to become an interesting art tool, we need much more control over the output. The slot-machine-like nature of pure text-to-image leaves too much to chance. Using the "Real-time Latent Consistency Model" that I'm using in the example here, is the first time I truly got a glimpse of a future where we'll be able to use our artistic skills and sensibility, to get control over AI image gen. Systems like these will never be able to match the quality or originality of a skilled artist, it won't surprise us in the same way an artist can. Things are a mess in terms of the training data these models are based on, and the questions about copyright concerns and about a time when everything will look the same are very valid. At some point capabilities like these will be embedded in photoshop, and anyone will be able to generate a pretty picture. But to create interesting designs, to tell original stories and to surprise us, we need creatives and artists with something on their mind. We'll be able to create immersive worlds, by making brush-strokes and sculpt marks, without needing to worry about all the dials, plugins, wires of our 3d and 2d tools today. I love to sculpt, I love to draw, and I love to explore new mediums and new ways to create. The Gen AI tools we have today are far from perfect, and things need to be steered in a better direction. For that we need artists to help point the way. Gen AI isn't going away.. it's too powerful and has the potential to allow us to tell stories like never before. Like all other big technological shifts, tech like this will come at a cost, but it will also open up new opportunities and empower a new generation of storytellers. I might be naive, but I believe that human ingenuity and creativity will persevere in this new world ♥️ #art #ai

ABHIJEET SHUTS DOWN THE “I AM JUST AN ARTIST” EXCUSE 🚨 DILJIT: I am an artist, bro. Everything can’t be fixed. ABHIJEET 🎯: These are artists too, bro. They are speaking up because students died and the system must change. DILJIT: Bro, keep me away from protest politics. Respect to those protesting and those this protest is for. ABHIJEET 🔥: That excuse does not work. Everything is political, bro.

Peter Windsor was right about the new F1 regulations: 🗣️"These regs neutralized the talent of Charles and Max. If you put any one of the greats from the past in these cars, I don't think they'll be able to do anything more than Lindblad or Hadjar." [🎥/via @Shay99087]

As a kid, I was in the Boy Scouts for 6 years. My dad was the troop master and I remember the other boys and the parents always being weird with me because of how "gay" or “effeminate" I was. My parents always stood beside me and protected me when it came to who I was or my self expression. I credit them with the confidence that I have today and l am so lucky and appreciative to them. Happy pride month! 🏳️‍🌈

During testing... I'm often asked how long I test a single style. I don't have a fixed timeframe. Sometimes styles are very consistent and I can test them for 2-3 hours. Other times I really love a style and I'm willing to fight to the end to get the result I want — and that can take anywhere from a few days to a week. And the most complex but equally amazing styles take even longer — those I generally don't share on my website. Instead I create moodboards from what I consider the best results and use those styles that way.

Right now, I don’t have the words to describe what I’m seeing... it happens far too often and is far too inhumane toward Ukrainians. These residents of Odesa pose no threat to anyone in this world, but the russians see the world very differently than we do. To them, everyone is an enemy and everyone around them is evil. These are residential neighborhoods burning, the homes of peaceful people... but you already understood that without my words; tonight, the russians have once again taken Ukrainian lives. And those who survived have been left homeless. Many houses were destroyed, damaged, or burned down.
