I for one applaud Jack Smith for going public—especially this recent sit down with Andy Weissmann. Watch how easily he lies and distorts the facts of both cases. Hur determined Biden willfully retained classified papers but wouldn’t prosecute because he was an old man with a failing memory (among... other reasons) Biden knew he had the papers and refused to turn them over until DOJ went after Trump. He had shared files with his ghostwriter, who destroyed tapes of his interviews with Biden AFTER the investigation began. Smith LAUGHABLY argues one reason why the “rule of law” was different for Biden is because the documents were old?? Is he kidding? Also—Trump fully cooperated with both NARA and DOJ to produce papers. He even let Jay Bratt and FBI agents into Mar a Lago to look for more documents in June 2022. Two months later, over the objections of some FBI officials, DOJ authorized the raid of MAL. FURTHER — toward the end of the documents case before it was tossed—Smith’s prosecutors ADMITTED they did not know if any of the moved boxes (the basis of the obstruction charges) contained any of the alleged classified files seized during the raid. Last night Sean Hannity asked Trump about the reported audio recording in which he admits to knowing that the documents he had after leaving the White House were still classified. Trump simply said, "I don't know anything about it. All I know is this, everything I did was right,” and then he went on to accuse Biden of doing worse. Trump also claimed he did nothing wrong and could declassify anything. He said he abided by the Presidential Records act 100%. Fact is though that Trump doesn’t appear to have done everything right. He allegedly had boxes moved after he was subpoenaed for them. He had his attorney sign a declaration saying he turned everything over. He admitted that some of the documents were still classified and admitted he could have issues if he shared the docs. You can’t declassify documents after you leave the WH, and that apparently is now what he’s claiming he did. He also alleged that Biden had 1850 boxes with classified documents in them that he doesn’t want anyone to see. This is a blatant lie. He reportedly told prosecutors that he could not remember a single instance of documents being declassified before leaving the White House for Trump’s private property. He also said he knew of no “standing order,” about declassifying documents that Trump brought home. Meadows also reportedly had part of his biography rewritten in order to cover up for the fact that Trump had classified documents in his office after leaving the White House. He reportedly told investigators he had it rewritten because he knew it was troublesome for Trump. Meadows could very well take the stand against Trump in the documents case and that could be extremely harmful to Trump’s potential defense. Alright, let’s break down the leaked Trump audio. There is A LOT to go over here. -DOJ leaked it, highly illegal -All the docs Trump took were already declassified and legally his property -Milley created a contingency to attack Iran when Trump backed out of Obama’s Iran Deal Firstly, notice how the Dems always claim they care so much about the integrity of the law and respect the secrecy of ongoing investigations. Yet they have been leaking anything and everything that benefits them since 2016. Not a single official in the Biden regime will utter a syllable about Hunter Biden due to the “ongoing investigation”. The FBI won’t reveal anything to the American People under the guise of “sources and methods”. But all throughout the Mueller investigation, the Mar-a-Lago raid, Manhattan DA, etc.; leaks on top of leaks on top of leaks. People forget this is illegal, yet our corrupt DOJ/FBI do it all the time, without consequence. And ONLY to the detriment of Trump, never the other way around. Secondly, Trump’s documents were already declassified. The documents belonged to him legally via the Presidential Records Act. And while the media are in a wild frenzy over this audio of Trump sharing the docs with his aids, they completely ignore that Biden’s aides and lawyers are the ones who allegedly found all of Bidens stolen classified documents at UPenn. The only difference is, Trump was POTUS, Biden did this when he was VP. One is legal, one is not.
