i found out i can render with python so i wrote a script that looks at a vslice formatted chart file (as well as any nearby ogg files) and render it as a video!!! might be useful for charters to showcase, the file size for this whole video was...

technically there was a bug in this video where the positioning of the notes were not accounting for the y of the strums dw i already fixed it

I think I found a faster, recursive algorithm to render Signed Distance Fields (SDFs) more efficiently using less samples. Here's a video with a short explanation. As far as I know this is novel? Curious to hear your questions/feedback.

I recorded my entire 32mins session with In 32mins, I was able to produce a landing page with a product comparison chart. Video is uncut and at normal speed. I just added music so you don't get bored. I made this for those who haven't used and are interested to see how it works. Claude Cowork is also super useful for editing files You can just describe what file you're looking for (e.g. "a video with a squirrel") and run ffmpeg based on simple instructions, even if you don't have any experience with editing/converting files
