Grok created a video in Unity of a realistic sky and ocean. I’ll keep pushing it further. All done via the CLI. I didn’t touch the Unity editor myself. For those who don’t know: Unity is a powerful, widely used game engine. It’s the tool behind countless games, from indie hits like Hollow Knight, Cuphead, and Among Us to massive titles like Pokémon GO and Genshin Impact.

Just tested Grok for the first time, and It’s surprisingly solid at coding compared to other AI models. I used it to generate the logic for this web based 3D augmented reality Pong game, and it handled it well. This took a bit of back and forth but still pretty quick.

Grok Build is seriously addictive. I can't put it down. I had my 8-year-old nephew build a game with it, Starship Breakthrough. He sent all the prompts himself; I just gave a little guidance on the side. He knows zero code, and when he finished his first real game, he was over the moon. One tip: when you start a new project in Grok Build, don't have it execute right away. Say "I want to build a ___, design it first, then build it." Let it lay out a plan, you review it, then it executes — the results come out noticeably more solid. Everyone should give it a try.

I didn’t expect Grok’s video model to improve this much. Today, when I was generating a video with Seedance 2.0, I found the results weren’t very good. So I tried using the exact same source material and prompt in Grok instead. To my surprise, Grok actually produced better results than Seedance 2.0. I’ve put the prompt and source material in the comments, so if you’re interested, you can give it a try too. The left side shows the video generated by Grok, and the right side shows the video generated by Seedance 2.0.

For vibe math in Programming Language Theory, it’s keeping up with Sol 5.6 and feels way more fun to work with. Some models want to write a whole museum of documents. Some keep poking you to “Continue” like a needy browser tab. Grok just gets into the math and keeps the session moving. Clarifying the Grok Logo Situation Since Elon Musk shared my Grok poster, many have started referring to my version of the logo as the new official Grok logo. I’d like to clear things up. I did not design the Blackhole logo. However, the poster, the logo on the poster, and the tagline featured in it were my suggestions. A few months ago, this logo briefly appeared on the Grok website before being taken down. People who saw it began sharing it as the “new Grok logo.” As soon as I saw it, I absolutely loved it. I then explored different variations, creating multiple posters and alternate logo concepts. Elon Musk and many people at xAI used this poster for the announcement of Grok 3. At this point, there is no official confirmation on whether this will be Grok’s new logo, but I’d love to see it happen! ✌️
