Omg they are using frozen dough, putting into a proofing oven then baking it. The inhumanity. There are lots of reason to not eat at subway. Cost vs value being my reason. However the fact they use frozen dough and proof that before baking is a point in their favor.

That's literally how every chain sandwich shop does it. Comes frozen, proofs/rises in the proofer. Then it's baked..................

Any bread/rolls/pastry you buy at a supermarket "bakery" is done exactly the same way.

when i worked for subway back in the late 80s, this is how they were doing it. "Baked fresh in store" means frozen sticks come in and they baked in store.

That's because you've been with the rich & wealthy classes for far too long. Earn a day as a laborer & see how fucked we regulars get to keep this shit show a float. Seriously, go work for a day labor company for 1 day in any of the 50 states. It gets more depressing when that's the only amount you can spend. Yet, without us.. Your food, security, and other items for a comfortable life would be gone.

Nothing like a frozen bread dildo from Subway for lunch.

The dough comes in frozen, and is put in a proofer. thats what hes putting that in. in the proofer the dough softens and the yeast makes it rise. then its put in the oven and baked. this cuts out the dough making part which is time consuming and inconsistent.

Subway is the far from “fresh” as they claim. Worked for a major company that houses their products. Haven’t ate there in over 8 years cause I know the truth.

Haven't had one of their subs since the Jared scandal. Never will again.
