This gentleman works at a used car lot. He was evaluating a fresh trade and determined it needed tires and other services. He decided to take it to a local shop to have the work done. He dropped it off and got a call in the afternoon to pick it up. He paid for the services and when he got back to the dealer. He noticed that the shop didn’t do any of the work, they didn’t replace the tires or any of the services he paid for. He confronts one of the workers and they admit to scamming him, all the while the shop owner is nowhere to be found. The worker claims they were gonna call him back and fix it. At this point after they scammed you, would you allow them to try to do the work again and fix things?

#Turtleboy responded to Surviving The Survivor Podcast For context: Turtleboy randomly attacked this man, for no reason, other than he and his mother have been invited to CrimeCon while he is not. Otherwise, the Waldman family has done absolutely nothing to him, and has actually hosted him on their show. He continues to perpetuate negative stereotypes by accusing Waldman of "using" the systemic murder of six million Jews for money. He tries to re-route the conversation to the Israel/Palestine conflict. He yet again diminishes the cultural and generational trauma of genocide. He does not understand that Joel and his mother both contribute to, and are the faces of, the channel. I did not know who they were very deeply at all until a couple days ago, and I already understand that. Didn't have to dig that far. It is HER book as well that is being sold. I ordered it. And he never apologizes. This is what this guy does. He pokes and prods for the most painful pressure point he can find, and then exploits it. It goes beyond just insensitivity and bigotry and straight into unadulterated malice. If you're upset about what he has to say about a Holocaust survivor, you should hear what he has to say about the family and friends of murder victims, and their kids. There should be no space for this in the "true crime" community. There have to be some limits.

Do you agree with this type of discipline? He’s his stepdad. I think he did exactly what he was supposed to do. He took him outside away from the mom and other kids and he didn’t touch him. He let him vent. He listened to him. Then, he made him do his workout and then explained why he was in the wrong. Just because he seasoned his words while explaining doesn’t mean shit. Sometimes step parents stepping up is all a kids needs. I applaud this step father for caring about the mother and her kids enough to take the time to show this boy guidance and discipline and that he cares for him. Good job! 👏🏼

He only packs the bare necessities and is supposed to forage for what else he needs, hunting and fishing for food and learning to start a fire even in the worst situations.
