I had some downtime after work today, so I added preliminary support for loading Sega CD games from disk without dumping on SuperStation. It works very well! I’ll try Sega Saturn when I get a chance.

This is major. If we can get pc engine and Saturn doing the same thing then this would be such an insane system.

PCE should be super easy

Yo… how about neogeo cd?

I hope the Philips CD-i discs will play at some point too. I know the core still needs a lot of work. Until then... My CD-i discs are ready. 😁

Amazing work. This is my first fpga device so I'm super hyped to get my hands on it. Btw @TakiUdon_ , are you still on schedule for a early Q4 release or is it likely it'll get a delay?

any update on super5 ? it has been 2 week as per your previous tweet

Let's go!

Whoa! That’s awesome. The Super Station living up to its name!

What about CD32x? @TakiUdon_

Anyway to do that with a Mister and a USB DVD player?

Shame it can't have the Bios.. for nostalgias sake. I used to love sitting and watching the Bios dancing logo with the visual effects and such as a kid.

@Mr_GoofAss It has the BIOS, I pressed start so it started the game.

Ohhhh my bad.

Any update on when the Super 5 dock will go into production, or be ready to be ordered?

I can’t wait to get this bad boy in my hands

I'm not very surprised, but I am very excited. Bravo.

This is becoming the system of my dreams. Insanely cool work :)

This thing is gonna be sooooo dope

Is there any progress update on Super7? It's been a few months since the last update so I'm curious how it's all shaping up.

@PixelCNinja Yes!! This is what I was hoping for!

Very nice!!

I hope I’m not repeating an often asked question, but are save states a possibility on SS?

this is awesome! always great seeing real games load directly on an FPGA

Everytime you post an update I get more excited for the founders editions to ship so I can play around on my CRT.

So cool, tanks !

I want this! 😭

Any update on Easymenu?

any chance of running Doom Fusion in this configuration? (32X + SEGA CD)

When is expected restock for mister pi io and USB hub?

Amazing work! Please keep adding support for playing games off disc directly, thrilled I pulled the trigger on a founders SS1

Will the disk drive be available around the same time as the system itself?

Have you made a determination on the LCD screen attachment? I thought you had toyed with the idea, but I've slept since then...
