I had the privilege visiting BAPS Hindu Mandir and experience BAPS philosophy. 🙏 It is truly a world-class temple in such beautiful surroundings and the perfect example of India and UAE friendship. I was deeply touched by the BAPS message of peace and harmony. 😇

Paid obeisance at the divine & architecturally magnificent BAPS Hindu Mandir in Abu Dhabi. Deeply grateful to Swami Brahmaviharidas Ji. I was blessed to perform puja & place a ceremonial brick at this first traditional Hindu temple in the Middle East in 2021 which now stands tall as a sentinel of ancient Indian culture, traditions & values of peaceful coexistence passionately espoused by PM Narendra Modi Ji. #WATCH | Prime Minister Narendra Modi says, "A magnificent temple was inaugurated in Abu Dhabi in 2024. Today, thousands of people visit it to offer their prayers. And now, the construction of the Swaminarayan temple in Paris stands as a testament to the continuity of creation and the resolute will of the saints... I extend my heartfelt congratulations to the BAPS Swaminarayan organization and to the crores of devotees on this occasion. Whenever temples are consecrated in various countries through BAPS, India's ancient philosophy and human values travel along with them. India’s philosophy says, 'Samanam Manah Sahachittamesham,' meaning that our minds should be in harmony and our hearts should be connected. Therefore, the completion of such a magnificent temple in France will not only enrich the country's diversity but also invigorate the cultural ties between India and France." Yesterday, I visited the magnificent BAPS Hindu Mandir in Abu Dhabi, some 90 miles from Dubai and 60 from the capital of the UAE, in the middle of the desert. It was an extraordinary experience, which I spoke about with the head of the Mandir, Swami Brahma Vihari Das. While his questions are missing from my replies, this video, skilfully edited to incorporate visuals of my visit, says more than I can in a tweet. Do watch:

🌸 A Spiritual Oasis in the Desert 🌸 During my visit to the UAE, I had the honor of visiting the magnificent Swaminarayan Temple in Abu Dhabi, a beacon of unity, peace, and devotion. BAPS Hindu Mandir 🙏 This architectural marvel is not just a temple—it’s a testament to what humanity can achieve when faith and harmony unite. As I walked through its serene premises, I felt a deep connection to our rich heritage and an overwhelming sense of gratitude for the values of inclusivity and spirituality that transcend borders. The temple stands as a reminder of how cultural exchanges and mutual respect strengthen bonds between nations. Let’s continue fostering this spirit of togetherness and shared purpose. What’s that one place of worship that inspires you and helps you spiritually grow?
