Every immigrant that comes to America and completes paperwork should get an immigrant ID number right away. They can then work and have taxes take out, providing more income for the U.S. Government. Win-win.

We need skilled immigrants to do construction work. There is a severe shortage of plumbers, HVAC, roofers, drywallers etc.

Thank you for the most honest post I have read ina long time! A lot of the folks we employ up here in upstate NY may or may not be legal. I don’t care. They are the hardest, most effective workers ever.They’re kind and prompt. I am so fortunate they are available to help me!

My pleasure. Truth does Matter and it is economically short sited to literally bite off the hand that feeds you. This isn’t about immigration it’s about weaponizing people fleeing persecution and poverty in search of a better life for political gain. They are hard workers with a sense of family, sound societal values and are grateful and respectful for the opportunities they are given.

So Florida Farmers are letting their Watermelons rot in the fields because they have nobody to pick them since Trump decided to deport the immigrants that did these jobs. Americans won’t do these jobs and never will because they’re to physically & emotionally hard for them! 😡

Oh Wow !!! I totally missed this yesterday. GOV. DESANTIS DID NOT ENDORSE BYRON DONALDS….. LISTEN VERY CAREFULLY…. First, Gov. DeSantis said that….these guys will all be successful “IF” they get in and do what they said they are going to do. Then he narrows his focus to just three candidates on the stage. Gov. DeSantis only endorsed Blaise Ingoglia, James Uthmeier and Wilton Simpson. They are the three, whom he points out, are already doing what they said they would do. Then, immediately, Gov. DeSantis goes on to talk about being cautious of Republicans who put themselves out to be something they aren’t because once they get in, they do the opposite. He said that’s a big problem that we are seeing nationwide with the Republican Party. It sure seems that Gov. DeSantis is referring to Byron Donalds here since Byron wasn’t one of the initial three that he referred to as “already doing what they said they would do.” Gov DeSantis could have included Byron, since Byron has been in public office since 2016, but he chose to exclude Byron from being one of those who are already doing what they said they would do. Plus, Gov. DeSantis has already stated that Byron has not been a part of our successes here, over the left, these past years. In addition, Gov. DeSantis is cautioning us to do our homework and to not vote for Republicans, just because they are running as Republics, because the fake Republicans do the opposite, of what they campaigned on, once they are in office. Malema is not wrong, decades of research consistently shows that mass expulsion of immigrants rarely improves unemployment. In fact, removing immigrants from a country often leads to higher unemployment and lower wages for the very people it was meant to help. The problem for Malema is that the people will not hear any of this. So, the back and forth will continue indefinitely because the powers that be will never substantially curb immigration (legal or illegal) because they already know how that ends. On the other hand, the masses will continue demanding what they want.

To the accounts on X which publicize every crime that an undocumented immigrant commits: I could do the same thing for Christians, or White Men, or MAGA Supporters, or Republicans. That doesn’t mean they are the problem though. In fact according to data from Texas, when it comes to undocumented immigrants it’s the EXACT OPPOSITE. They are between 2-5X LESS Likely to commit Violent crime, Property crime and Drug crime. Would that mean that Undocumented immigrants are making us MORE SAFE on average per capita? It would seem so... For the record I am not at all saying we don't have a problem with immigration. We do, but please stop spreading false narratives that label groups of people as being bad when on average they are not.

Americans have no problem doing those jobs. The problem is that they just don’t want to pay Americans a livable wage to do it. They would rather pay foreigners next to nothing and keep more profits.

In a market economy, profit is the only thing that counts, whether you like to criticize that or not. The fact is, however, that robots will be cheaper than human labor and will therefore be preferred. Moreover, robots are getting better and better, they will work longer hours than humans, are less prone to errors, do not fall ill and do not need vacations. They are superior to human labor.

I guess it is our fault for not teaching them that defrauding the government is wrong. 🙄 "How the hell is it our job to teach people not to steal billions meant for hungry kids?!"
