Just a little sidenote, you can use de least common multiple instead of multiplying. In general multiplying will work fine but you can have examples like 4v6 where you can count to 12 instead of 24, or 6v9 where you can count to 18 instead of 54

For the polyrhythm 2 against 3, I was taught “Pass me the bread”, as a great to begin to hear it, then start counting to it.

This is really great pedagogical method. When I was learning cross rhythms in school we just studied the rhythm in notation and used the phrase “pass the god dam butter” to internalize it
