I had to cut this from my sermon like an hour before preaching and it bothered me. This is the kind of stuff that's so easy to miss, but is so enriching in the context of the Gospels. The Bible is amazing.

The Place Beyond the Pines. The first hour of this film - in which married couple Ryan Gosling & Eva Mendes share the screen - is one of the best hours of Cinema I can ever remember experiencing in a theater. So emotional. So visceral. None of which is to suggest the back hour and a half of this film isn’t good, it definitely is & that’s thanks to Bradley Cooper, but the back of this film doesn’t approach the first half. This film’s first hour still gives me goosebumps.

Before they covered Rewrite The Stars 🐧: I have one of my fav song it's the OST of The Greatest Showman. I really like that scene from the movie, but since my (group) is full of men so I don't have the chance to sing it. Justin Thomas is playing the Charles Schwab Challenge this week for the first time in 4 years. Ahead of the event, he said he builds his schedule around what best prepares him for the majors and it may change year to year: “Everybody's different. I would say the most, the first and foremost, most important thing that a lot of the top guys, a lot of, anybody that's in the majors, you're going to at least I would think, is what's going to prepare me the best for the major. So like I've had success in majors when I play the week before. “But playing San Antonio the week before the Masters for me doesn't feel like that's getting me prepared as much as possible for the Masters. Therefore, I don't play San Antonio. I had a year where the PGA, when it was at Southern Hills I wanted to play the week before Byron Nelson, it's easy travel, and I played the week before. So it's very situational of when you play, don't play in that regard. “But I mean I really, really, really try with all my might to not do four in a row, four in a row is like I'm not fun to be around. It's very taxing. So I try to cap it at three. “And, yeah, there's a lot of great tournaments, we're very fortunate to have to miss some great events, but you have to at some point. While you're listening to me, you can continue making your payments, everybody. Back then, I wore it to events throughout the entire year because whoever held the Miss Grand title that year had to wear the crown to every event, whether it was to thank sponsors or attend various Miss Grand events. And this thing is heavy. It's really heavy. It was so heavy that every time I wore it, it would actually leave a dent on my head right here. It would leave a mark, like the crown had been pressing into my head. I did my duty perfectly throughout that entire year, wearing it for the full year. Then the following year, I got to wear the crown for the first runner up, which was Miss Grand International. So I hope everyone misses this little one.
