To clarify since everyone’s taking my head off in the comments: this was getting us stream sniped by the same 3 cheaters for the third game in a row and then a cheater team showed up to save us and I was just frustrated at that point. Wasn’t the sniping that got to me, it was the cheating.

I like Summit but this game really did one thing: It shows how distorted big streamers realities are of games. Dudes stash is stacked. They run over players all day long having crazy PVP matches. Myth pretends he’s friendly and kills people for fun and clips. Stream sniping is stupid af but that isn’t an Embark issue, it’s a stream issue. The average player literally has single digit kills in this game and run level I and II weapons with no attachments. A good raid for most is just getting out unfortunately. Most people would love to have the raids that Summit has with the teams he runs with. The flip side is the PVP players that are decent now want to copy how the streamers play the game. I love the mix of PVP and PVE but the people that missed out on launch week, with no one knowing the maps or how to take out ARC was literally one of the best launch weeks in years.

stream sniping is a streamer problem, not a game dev or game problem. Take precautions.

If you’re getting stream sniped, why not just change off the game screen when you search for a lobby or turn on a stream delay?

I enjoy watching Summit, but it’s the evolution of him and games. Starts game>Loves Game>Plays a lot>Starts finding problems>Begins raging>Goes to new game and starts process over again.

If theres one thing summit does well, its absolutely shit on every game he plays once he finds one or two things that annoy him about it. Enjoy his content when hes enjoying a game…but once that switch is flipped, its over

Seems a tad much for something that happened such a small amount of time. Yeah 3 times in a row can be frustrating but you could prob stream for 10-12 hours before running into something like this again. But the rage stuff gets clicks so I get it

I like Mr. Summit but brother run a delay or hide screen. It's literally that easy or just run free loadouts because no stream sniper wants that gear.

All of them are guilty for playing it like a BR so now people hunt them with no thought of objectives because thats what they see when streamers load into a raid is look for people. Play the game as intended and you would have never had to deal with this. Influence goes far!

Bro how hard could it be to really get away from stream snipers though. You have the delay but you also have the screen hide ability… there are multiple maps at any given time to go into… you can hide screen act like your going in and still be at the menu for a few more minutes. I mean come on. If it’s that concerning and that big of a deal I’d be finding a way. Not bitching at game developers because brain dead’s in your community are trying to get over on you live….
