💙 what would you like to be doing 12 years from now? 🐹 the members and I talk about this often. we’d like to be on stage until we can’t move. we’ll each have our life, but we’ll also go on stage together. and if we have our own family, we could bring them and do the performance together. we’re talking about 10,20,30 years from now. I agree with that. I want to be on stage when I’m 50. I’ve imagined a lot of that.

The translator Anton Hur shared a story about how RM “saves” the Korean literature and about his impact on publishers and sales. 👦🏻 My favorite live-saving, Namjoon story that I have is that…so a long time ago, I picked up this book by Lee Seong Bok about their aphorisms, about his poetry writing, about his poetics. It’s a very obscure topic, who reads about poetics?! But I read this book, it’s called ‘Indeterminate Inflorescence’ and I loved it! I was like, ‘Oh this is the life book, it’s like it contains all of my artistic ambitions in this one book but no one is going to publish it because no one is going to allow me to translate a book about Korean poetics so but I did find one publisher, it’s not even in New York, it’s in Seattle…And one tiny publisher that said ‘Okay, we’ll publish this book’, and then, a month before this book was supposed to come out, Namjoon posted about the aphorisms by Lee Seong Bok and when I saw that I thought like the angels were singing in the heaven and like manna was raining on me…I could not believe that this was happening and then like the first print got sold out, the second, the third got sold out. This tiny book that you know, it wasn’t a hit in Korea, it was like completely obscure. When I mentioned in Korea people were like ‘Lee Seong Bok wrote a book about aphorisms?’ like even if they know who Lee Seong Bok is…And now we have a, I think they’ll allow me to announce it but we have a deal for Lee Seong Bok’s poetry collection that summer’s end, that also Namjoon posted so I’m just so grateful to RM for saving Korean literature! 🔗 🔗 #RM #방탄소년단RM #김남준 #BTSRM

Like, who you work with. And what kind of experiences you share with them, that’s what really matters the most. So with these people, whether we go, volunteering or travel somewhere, we always move together as one group. Because if not and later on, when I write and release a song, if we hadn’t shared those experiences, I’d have to explain everything. Like, “I went somewhere and had this kind of experience…” But since we’ve all lived it together, I can just say, “Hey, I wrote this kind of song this time,” and they’ll be like, “Oh, yeah, I get it. I know exactly what that is.” It just makes everything so much faster, right?”

So I’ve been tagged in a few things about favorite drought moments and this phone call I’m gracious that people look back at this and point to it as a “favorite drought moment” I genuinely don’t like talking about myself or this call, but I will say this: I’m really happy the whole #WeAreAllDuane thing happened. It was a fun ride while it lasted and reborn from that was our podcast 2 Goalies 1 Mic with Johnny Cullen and y - Conor Hurley I’ve learned many valuable lessons over the last 6 years. Both good and bad. But wouldn’t trade the end result for anything. We’ve have opportunities to meet some of our favorite players, both former and current, develop long lasting friendships with them, as well as getting to meet and befriend some of the most incredible Sabres and hockey fans along the way. This city, and its people are truly one of a kind. Not to mention the countless, writers, analysts, and hockey personalities who’ve been so gracious with their time, advice, and now friendship If they clinch tonight it’ll be bitter sweet, but most of all feel even better given what happened Wednesday January 29th, 2020 on WGR. I still listen and wish nothing but the best for those guys. After going through a 17 year playoff drought, and now a 14 year one, I respect the hell out of what those guys do. It can’t be easy to talk everyday about a team that sometimes doesn’t give you much positive to talk about for as long as they have Whether you like or hate me. Or think my “15 minutes are over”, I’ve loved and appreciate every moment I’ve been a Sabres fan, and all moments and memories along the way. NOW LETS GET CUP CRAZY BUFFALO!!! 🎥 born ruffians

⚠️ HOW TO CHANGE THOSE WHO HATE JEWS I had this interview with Allison Josephs 4 months ago about how I changed in 2010 from someone who was raised to hate Jews to someone who learned a lot about Judaism and Hebrew in France 🇫🇷 I was raised to hate Jews! In the Media they taught us that Jews are conspiring against Muslims! At school I was taught that the worst enemy of a Muslim is a Jew! I used to repeat this hate unconsciously! But when I lived with Jews, everything really changed! I opened my eyes on the similarities and how close we are, I learned Judaism and Hebrew from the source! 13 years ago in Paris! and I thank God that I left that extremism behind my back and embraced tolerance. I was like “ok, Jews are good, but state of Israel is not”! In 2017, I met many Israelis (Arabs and Jews) and my idea of Israel changed positively. This is why I’m persistent to reconcile Muslim-Jewish relations, bring the peoples closer, I know haters (whom I were in their shoe) don’t like it, but I’ll keep on doing it. Knowledge prevails, ignorance fails. Bring the Children of Abraham together. The mission is sacred 🙏🏼♥️✡️☪️

It's not like, 'Hey this report was out, let's Jalen and I have a conversation about it.' If we involved ourselves in all of those things, I wouldn't have time to do anything else."
