In Episode 2, Markle recalls her first meeting with Queen Elizabeth. This clip pisses me off for more than the mocking of the Queen, which is vile & unforgivable on its own-but #MeghanMarkle spreading the stereotype that all Americans are as uncouth & ignorant as she is and wouldn’t know that curtseying to the QUEEN is expected & a sign of respect to not the person, but the position was a huge miscalculation on her part. I’d wage a bet that most Americans know that you curtsy to a King or Queen and I think Markle knew that too. From the Oprah interview. We now come to the infamous “Were you silent? Or were you silenCED?” Give me 793 breaks. #MeghanMarkle pats herself on the back for working and being “independent” despite depending on men the entire way-first her father, then Trevor, then Cory. Also-she was 37 years old-I would HOPE she worked and had some sort of independence. We hear about her yogurt shop job-again. I’m not sure why she thought coming into the British Royal Family as a divorced American wasn’t going to be noticed or kind of a big deal, but blaming the family and Firm because she didn’t do her due diligence is crazy. Im not mentioning her race because that was NOT a factor in her failure or fitting in-she didn’t fit in because she didn’t WANT to fit in. This still makes me laugh. Perhaps Harry intended on staying a working Royal forever but #MeghanMarkle absolutely did NOT. Her “career” was winding down, she was being written off of Suits. She had been spending a LOT of time in London scouting her next move aka a rich, well connected husband and Harry had a target on his back. I know #HarryandMeghan will die on that hill, that they never planned on leaving, but their actions say much different. People who aren’t planning on leaving don’t have talks and negotiations with streaming services called Quibi in 2019 if they’re staying the course. Markle loves herself a letter, right? Too bad nobody could decipher the chicken scratch. The Royal Family is probably STILL trying to figure out what she wrote. Playing the martyr and boasting how she gave up her career for Harry is a joke. Like she sacrificed an illustrious acting career to slum with some plebes in the U.K.-she got a title and more privilege than she ever thought possible-she had access to heads of state, diplomats, and philanthropists she’d otherwise never even come close to. Guess what time it is? Wreath making time! #MeghanMarkle orders her 2 friends to make some wreaths-she bossily tells them HOW to do it and monitors them to make sure hers is the best. She’s a horrible teacher-the way she tries to “teach” isn’t clear or concise and it’s not simple to follow. There isn’t one thing she’s made on this nightmare of a show that she explained or demonstrated well. She didn’t make what she thought she would, she didn’t know they take taxes out of her check. She’s openly crying while her dad and family find it quite humorous she didn’t know she had to pay taxes. Shouldn’t we go back to basics and start teaching about this more in school?

She explained that while she was in college, she was a big fan of Jessie Andrews and became very interested in the industry. Instead of answering it, she goes on about how she “left my career”-Rachel Zane was being written out of the show before Harry was in the picture. This “career” was waning which is why she was so desperate for Harry to publicly announce they were dating. She wrote the family letters they probably couldn’t read because her handwriting is illegible. We know, however, that they did NOT leave with “no plan”. She was in talks with Oprah as early as 2018. In early 2019, they were negotiating with Quibi, then moved on to Netflix where they eventually signed in Sep 2020. Spotify was a few months later-but these contracts take MONTHS to negotiate and finalize, so they were absolutely in talks before they announced they were leaving. Angel Reese explains are decision to join NIL despite the fact that she was schooling at LSU back then, she revealed her mum was an independent single mum and she knew she had to get to college on a scholarship because there was no way she was going to be able to pay out of pocket for school🥀 She revealed she didn’t know about NYL initially but she wanted to start getting paid as none of them was getting paid in the first two years but she had a brand which she needed someone to help her get it aligned with things that she do, she revealed she signed to an agency that her current agent, janine, was working with before but they told her she wasn’t going to make more than $2000 and she left with her current agent leaving the agency with her, taking a bold step, because she knew she was going to make more than $2000😳

I genuinely cannot understand how someone can watch this story and still stand there, looking at two women, and somehow decide that the wrong one is the victim. On one side, you have a girl (Yıldız) who has been mistreated her entire life. Since the moment she was born, she was treated like a sacrifice for a conflict she was never even part of and later we find out that this conflict never even existed. Her right to study was taken from her. She was pushed into a marriage at a very young age just imagine being six, seven, eight years old, living in fear of being tied to someone you don’t even know. She was treated like a servant in her own home, by the very people she thought were her family. And just when she gets close to the happiness she dreamed of, the man she was engaged to shows up with another wife. She gets mistreated by that wife, by his family, and even (unintentionally) by him, because he was trying to run away from his own feelings, and that only caused her more heartbreak. The whole world was literally against her. She fought through all of that, only to find out in the end that everything she suffered for was based on something that wasn’t even real. Her entire life was built on a lie. That she isn’t even part of that family that she has literally no one in this world. Now on the other side… You have a girl (Melek) who, yes, was taken from her biological mother but she was raised by loving parents. She had everything anyone could wish for: education, freedom, a happy childhood, a healthy environment. She lived her life, fell in love, went out, made choices and no one questioned her, no one controlled her. And then what did she do? I genuinely cannot understand how someone can watch this story and still stand there, looking at two women, and somehow decide that the wrong one is the victim. On one side, you have a girl (Yıldız) who has been mistreated her entire life. Since the moment she was born, she was treated like a sacrifice for a conflict she was never even part of and later we find out that this conflict never even existed. Her right to study was taken from her. She was pushed into a marriage at a very young age just imagine being six, seven, eight years old, living in fear of being tied to someone you don’t even know. She was treated like a servant in her own home, by the very people she thought were her family. And just when she gets close to the happiness she dreamed of, the man she was engaged to shows up with another wife. She gets mistreated by that wife, by his family, and even (unintentionally) by him, because he was trying to run away from his own feelings, and that only caused her more heartbreak. The whole world was literally against her. She fought through all of that, only to find out in the end that everything she suffered for was based on something that wasn’t even real. Her entire life was built on a lie. That she isn’t even part of that family that she has literally no one in this world.
