Using Your Own Characters in Seedance 2.0 Most people still think you can't use your own characters or personal photos in Seedance 2.0. That's not true. It is absolutely possible. In this video, a character I created appears in three different outfits based on the references I provided. Below, I've explained how you can achieve this properly. Something that AI unlocks is being able to try a few different variations of a feature quickly. I often ask my coding agent to come up with a few different variants and add a switcher so I can easily swap between them. It also saves your selection as a query param so I can show a specific variation to a colleague. This + a library like Leva for controls that directly influence an interaction makes prototyping and coming up with different ideas extremely easy.

Today I learned thanks to Zamu that Melee characters have shadows & the angle of the shadows is different on every stage. I also figured out that Nana does not have a shadow. This is because she is a vampire without a soul who sucks out your opponent's will to play this matchup.
