I have an upcoming talk in which I'll be describing density based clustering. With the help of Matplotlib I was able to get a nice visual aid to some of the conceptual ideas of the process.

@matplotlib thoughts about doing density in high dim instead of low dim?

@matplotlib That's the talk is about -- high dimensional geometry is weird and our intuitions for it are bad. A lot of classical approaches work well in low to medium numbers of dimensions. You can compute them for high dimensional data, but you may not get the results you want/expect.
