In 2019 & 2021, the people of Jalpaiguri, Alipurduar & Cooch Behar placed their trust in BJP West Bengal leaders, voting them into power. What did BJP MPs & MLAs do in return? They heartlessly conspired to deprive Bengal's people of their rightful funds. The verdict is clear: BJP is ANTI-BENGAL! They must be banished from our soil, once and for all.

BENGAL vs BJP Day 1 I Don’t Support Violence. But when a Community is Constantly pushed to the Corner, Mocked, and Ignored, Reaction becomes inevitable. What happened in Cooch Behar today isn’t right, but it didn’t come out of nowhere.

In a disturbing escalation of political violence in West Bengal, the TMC launched a violent attack at the BJP District Party Office in Cooch Behar. The Assembly Elections are probably 11 months away but TMC have unleashed their attack dogs on the principal opposition party; BJP. This shows that they are losing ground and that's why they are resorting to violence so early. The Party Office is located in the Cooch Behar town and the incident unfolded in the presence of Mamata Police. TMC Goons along with Jihadists who are under the patronage of Mamata Police executed the attack. Several of our Karyakartas got injured badly. Recently, BJP MLA from Cooch Behar South Assembly Constituency; Shri Nikhil Ranjan Dey was attacked by TMC Goons while he was going towards Dinhata Court. Today's incident has reignited concerns over the deteriorating law-and-order situation in the district and all over the state as well. The attack is a deliberate attempt to intimidate BJP workers and a blueprint of the TMC's desperation to cling on to power through violence and thuggery. We won't be intimidated, rather we would seek motivation from this and will combat the TMC goons with courage. Amit Shah Sunil Bansal BJP BJP West Bengal

There are no concessions for Opposition Political Workers in West Bengal, especially BJP Karyakartas, even if such Karyakarta is a woman and also from the minority community. Hossainara Begum; Vice President BJP Minority Morcha was brutally attacked by TMC goons on 25th June. She was forcefully disrobed, molested and brutally beaten up mercilessly at Rangamati village, Post - Ramthenga, under Police Station - Ghoksadanga, Cooch Behar district. Her only fault is that she associated with BJP and has worked extensively during the recently concluded Lok Sabha Elections. She is presently being treated for injuries at the Cooch Behar MJN Medical College and Hospital. I have sent emails to the Chairpersons of National Human Rights Commission, National Commission for Women and National Commission for Minorities, urging them to send a team to Cooch Behar district to ascertain what an Opposition Political Worker goes through in West Bengal. "Ghasher Opor Joraphool, Desh Bachabe Trinamool!" Today, I was humbled by the spirit of Jonogorjon that brought everyone together in Cooch Behar & Jalpaiguri. The people came in support of the message of Ma Mati Manush, championed by our MP Candidates Shri Jagadish Chandra Basunia & Shri Nirmal Chandra Roy, who have taken the resolve to establish AITC's development agenda as an antidote to BJP's divisive politics. I urge the people of Cooch Behar & Jalpaiguri to cast their vote on the Joraphool symbol & strengthen the hands of progress in Bengal!

In 2024, through the sheer force of their mandate, the people of Cooch Behar decisively consigned the ‘Porijayee’ BJP MP to political history by prefixing his name with ‘Ex’. And if the unrestrained energy and resolve I witnessed today in the vast ocean of people at the Rana Sankalp Sabha is any indication, Cooch Behar will lead the charge to completely rout BJP from Bengal in 2026. The Bangla-Birodhi Zamindars have understood the power of the Gonodebota. That very fear explains their desperation. It explains why NRC notices are being sent from Assam, why our language and culture are repeatedly insulted, why Bengalis are treated as outsiders in their own land, and why there is a concerted attempt to snatch away the constitutional right to vote. These Bohiragotos who cannot even pronounce the name of Roy Saheb Thakur Panchanan Barma with respect, who harass and demean our Rajbanshi brothers and sisters, will be answered in the only language they seem to understand, the language of democratic resistance. Their pride, their arrogance, their hubris will be reduced to dust. Mark my words. Those who have had the audacity to mark living voters as ‘dead’ and erase them from the electoral rolls will soon face their democratic funeral.

Miscreants are trying to import the cross border culture of radical & communal subjugation, by means of abominable and nefarious activities. Buoyed by the activities of the radicalists in Bangladesh who are trying to repress the festivities surrounding the Durga Puja, miscreants in West Bengal are trying to imitate the same, in order to fan communal tensions and create an environment of intimidation and fear during the festive season. A severed head of a bovine animal was found in a Durga Puja Pandal (under construction) at the Khalisamari Sarkar Haat area in Sitalkuchi; Cooch Behar District. I would like to urge DG West Bengal Police, SP Cooch Behar; Shri Dyutiman Bhattacharya (IPS) and District Magistrate of Cooch Behar; Shri Arvind Kumar Mina (IAS) to take stock of the situation immediately and initiate action so that this tendency can be nipped in the bud. President Trump won a decisive popular vote mandate, Republicans won majorities in both houses of Congress, and we have a 6-3 conservative majority on the Supreme Court. It’s now or never for structural reform in America.

Joy Behar rips off the band-aid and forces The View panel to confront the fact that Kamala Harris is a perennial loser. Alyssa Farah Griffin was making the case that Harris is the most likely person to be the next Democrat nominee...until Behar stopped her dead in her tracks. GRIFFIN: “My hot take of the moment is the most likely person to be the Democratic nominee is Kamala Harris.” “In every poll she is still…it’s usually her and Gavin Newsom neck and neck.” BEHAR: “I have a list here.” GRIFFIN: “She’s usually ahead. If I may finish.” BEHAR: “I have a better list.” “I love her, she was great. But she didn’t win one time. What makes you think she’s going to win again?”
