Glad to hear someone actually talk to the science around this stuff. We have actual studies and tests that prove this type of thing. As funny as memes can be, sometimes they can often ruin a somewhat serious topic.

I have an aunt who recently had to get an amputation after some medical complications, so I absolutely know that this type of feeling is real! Sure, I and many others might jest about those who mention phantom pain on VRChat, but in reality, it is a common side-effect.
