I have seen several comments on this news article suggesting that the Government will arbitrarily target or take your SACCO Savings to build infrastructure. Basically, ignorant, and sentiments almost obviously from people who either don’t have savings anywhere or don’t understand how SACCO’s, and generally financial institutions work, or...

America is $38 trillion in debt—but to whom? The answer is contradicting. Ourselves. We've created a self-sustaining, endless system where we're lending to ourselves. Let me explain. #1: The US government borrows from itself. For example: Social Security collects your payroll taxes. Instead of saving that money, the government borrows it and gives Social Security trillions in bonds. #2: The Federal Reserve buys the debt. America's central bank owns $6 trillion in government bonds—purchased by expanding the money supply. The government borrows, and the Fed funds it. #3: Your savings fund the debt. Your 401k, pension, bank deposits, and insurance policies? They typically hold government bonds as 'safe' assets—often 20-40% of the portfolio depending on allocation. #4: Foreign countries complete the circle. Japan and China earn dollars by selling us products, then lend those same dollars back by buying US Treasury bonds. It's a self-reinforcing cycle: Governments borrow from their central banks, their citizens' savings, and from other countries' dollar reserves This system evolved over decades, from the Nixon shock in 1971 to quantitative easing after 2008. Whether by design or accident, it's now the foundation of modern finance. The critical question is whether it's sustainable—and the data suggests we're approaching a breaking point And the answer is no—which is why positioning your portfolio now is critical — Want to know how to position your portfolio to protect against the risks in this system? I've created a complete video covering the 5 assets to own and 3 to avoid as these risks intensify. Like + comment "ASSETS" and I'll DM it to you.

"The reason why people who are running companies or [are] in important government positions suddenly do an about-face [is] because...the people who control the National Security Law... inform them... they may not say anything [and] they basically have a muzzle over them." This clip of Catherine Austin Fitts, a former Assistant Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, investment banker, and founder of the Solari Report (The Solari Report | Catherine Austin Fitts), is taken from an episode of the Children's Health Defense (Children’s Health Defense) series Financial Rebellion posted to Rumble on July 10, 2025. ---------------Partial Transcription of clip---------------- "If you haven't watched the Story of the Red Button, I, strongly recommend you do. And it talks to our dependency as a society on organized crime and war and the fact that the general population really supports doing whatever we have to do to get their check. They just don't want to know about it. "And the reality is the people who run the financial system and the people who run the government have to know about it and have to deal with it. And that's why you get, you know, we get an overt part of the economy and we get a covert part of the economy. And at moments like this, National Security Law has to rise up and essentially assert control. "And I would point out, that Operation Warp Speed, as far as I know, Polly, I think is still going on. But under National Security Law, I have been told, and I cannot prove this, I cannot prove this in a court of law, but I've been told repeatedly that people like, you know, like a Pam Bondi are basically told this is an issue under National Security Law. And, if you disclose it, you will go to prison, you know, for 30 years. "So, you know, this is the reason why people who are running companies or people in important government positions suddenly do an about face because they've gotten the speech, the people who control the National Security Law, to inform them under the law, they may not say anything that they, they basically have a muzzle over them."

This is the time to remind each other across Africa and beyond about the harsh realities of bad financial choices that ruin lives. If you don’t own a house, and you also don’t own your car, then they are owned by the bank or you are paying someone else’s mortgage as a tenant. I don’t tell people what to buy with their earned or borrowed money, that is your prerogative, but I will tell you that if you buy and wear designer clothes yet you don’t have a home, then you are indeed a clown. This attached film is harsh, but it shows what the monied people set us up to do based on our bad habits way back when, sadly what is said in this 1954 film remains true to this day. I have seen a lot of Zim brothers and sisters in South Africa taking half a million rand loans to buy cars yet renting a 2 bedroom flat, that is foolishness on steroids! Half a million rand can get you a decent apartment in Johannesburg. I have also seen brothers and sisters piling up debt on credit cards buying gucci, Versace and related label paraphernalia in South Africa yet they are renting. Many fell into trouble during the Covid era, cars were repossessed, and some even lost their mortgaged properties, they were foolish yet many refuse to learn! Imagine being kicked out of your home with all those gucci boxes in a truck. We should not accentuate the poverty mentality of buying things in order to be seen when you are sinking into debt or you don’t have your own home. I am saying this not to insult but to highlight the importance of making wise financial choices and prioritizing long-term investments, like owning a home over short-term luxuries. It is extremely important for individuals to consider the implications of their spending habits and focus on building a stable financial foundation. The lessons from the past as portrayed in this 1954 film still resonate today. Aim for owning a home, aim for owning your car, and more importantly have savings and investments. Many wealthy people have never owned a brand new car, it is not that they can’t afford one, it is simply because they choose to prioritise investments over conspicuous consumption. It pains me when brothers and sisters start making calls looking for money to pay debts that they incurred during the festive season, buying name brand clothes to impress. A man or woman of substance doesn’t need to impress with things that they don’t afford, you impress with your mind. I know this post will be so unpopular because it touches people in a way they don’t want to reminded, but someone has to remind us. BMWs, Mercs, Gucci, Versace are for wealthy people, don’t pretend to be wealthy when you are not. Live within your means!!! January disease is a reflection of people who make bad financial decisions!
