I celebrated the anniversary of “Music Box of Fate” today with RiKU, Lesage, and Baji. In the process of reminiscing about the song and talking about my approach to orchestrating, I… discovered that I regained the ability to hear music in my mind, which I’d lost after my near-death experience. It was so loud, clear, and vivid. I feel alive again. I’m so so so lucky to be here, to have the friends I have, to have made such a special song with Mousey and RiKU, and to have been given a second chance at life. This song gave me everything not once, but twice 💖 and I think it will continue to do so for the rest of my life. Happy anniversary to “Music Box of Fate”! ✨

Just the fact that there was something I wanted to accomplish even if I put aside everything that made me feel safe, even money and all that, felt incredibly precious. I’ve always had this desire to be good at everything, to be the very best, so honestly, every day when I wake up, I’m just like, “I want to live today as the best I can,” with that kind of mindset. As someone who lives like that, I started wondering what the standard for “the best” is, and then, what my greatest dream is. And as everything connected, what is the greatest something I can leave behind in this life, in this world I thought, then for this greatest dream that I believe in, I should go all in with the greatest effort and the greatest focus, something like that.

One day, we need to talk about this idea that “someone must already have a skill before they can join certain units to serve God.” What do you mean I have to know a lot about music before I can join the choir? I’m not even asking for a microphone. I just want the opportunity to learn, grow, and faithfully attend rehearsals. And before anyone says, “Go to music school,” it doesn’t work that way. Should I leave medical school just to study music? I think the most important thing is having the passion and willingness to learn that craft so you can serve the Lord well. I’ve seen people join the media unit with little or no prior knowledge, receive consistent training, and today they’re doing amazingly well and serving effectively. Not every willing servant starts as an expert. Sometimes the ministry should be where the training begins.

What a ride. Looking back, it’s so wild how many veils dropped at once in my life and very few people could see it. I thank God, my family, and the bears that I made it thru. So many people just appeared like angels and I’m still fortunate to call them friends. Onward! A hill to grow on! I love you guys
