Do not rely on international organisations like the United Nations or the European Community to make or to keep a peace with freedom and justice. There is no substitute for national leadership. Of course, it would be churlish not to give the UN credit for what it has achieved, particularly in Cambodia. Where, as in the Gulf, it has been given strong leadership, by one or more nation states, it has been effective. But we delude ourselves if we think that it will be capable of moving with the speed, the will and the determination needed to keep the peace without such a lead from nation states. The United Nations depends on consensus and that is simply not an adequate basis for action or for readiness to take combat risks (as we have seen in Bosnia). Act in concert, yes. But act by consensus and you may not act at all. Indeed, as I've so often said, consensus is the negation of leadership. If we attempt to rely solely on the United Nations, we shall soon learn that it is an institution where copious resolutions become a substitute for effective action.

Carlos on if the tape stuck to his tyre affected his Q3: “I think we picked up a plastic leaving the pits and the tyres caught the whole plastic. I spent four or five corners trying to get rid of the plastic and then I think that plastic damaged the bodywork and the team managed to repair it, but just putting another plastic on top basically. I don't know if we were downforce down or not. They will let me know now in the debrief how much it really impacted us. But for sure it's not ideal to start a Q3 with an issue like that. It puts you a bit under pressure and a bit in chaos everywhere, but we managed to recover well.”

This is actually the same type used in food packaging, medical tubing and baby bottles There is a microplastic concern that the mesh and plastic structure could shed tiny particles over time, but this is only if it’s heavily used IKEA says the mattress is made this way for easy rinsing in the shower and air-drying

I took the reference photo for this piece back in 2021. I’ve been working on this collection for 2 years and it’s taken me 4 years to finally put this reference photo to use. The Saddest Show on Earth exhibition has been in the planning stages for about a year and a half and all prints, products, and limited editions have taken me about 2 years to make (if you include painting the pieces in the first place). All this time, I haven’t released a single product or print and have made all of my original paintings available to reserve only until the exhibition. If I wasn’t so stubborn, I think I would have cracked by now and done a little print release or a little product launch 😅🤡 Anywho, over the years I’ve definitely become a bit of a ‘long game’ creative (and businesswoman) and hopefully it’ll all pay off in the end!

Or is he now teaching us not to give in church and give more to public coffers what we would take to church on sunday?

I am going to enjoy every moment of the four years when we have President Trump back in the White House. No other president in my lifetime has fought this hard for the American people. I think we all forget what it cost to get him here and how this country was on the brink of disaster. So I am going to take a moment and be grateful and give Glory to God for saving him on that field in Butler and giving us a chance to reverse course.

On 20th Mashujaa Day we will be in Narok for a symbolic cleanup. The meeting point will be communicated. To those who have asked for urgent street protests against the ills of this government, i agree with you. However, I urge you to remember the need to build momentum before you engage. Civic Education is still needed in 70% of our nation for a national consensus on the change we want. This struggle is for all of us. It should not be left to the youthful GenZ or the people in towns and cities. We need everyone on board. #FagiaKwako
