I went sourcing for my rent, and I came back home a Landlord. My rent was due since March, I had pleaded with the landlord to give me some time to sort it out, and he had been patient. Business was not doing very well, and we were depending on my wife’s earnings to survive. I have a big brother who grew up in our neighbourhood. He was an artist at the time, and I used to hang around him while he worked. I developed an interest in artwork because of him, and he was my inspiration for studying sculpture and other art forms, which led me to become who I am today. This man had become a politician in another state. I had not seen him in several years, but we exchange messages via text and WhatsApp once in a while, especially regarding some artworks and politics. I never gave him the impression that I was struggling because I felt it would affect our relationship but I was desperate this time around and decided to go and see him. During the Night of Glory, as we ministered to the Lord and words of prophecy were being spoken, the man of God said “I have given it to you, I have supplied you with that heart desire. That thing you have been waiting for and trusting God for is now yours. Share your testimony with me when you receive it.” I heard these words from brother Gbenga, and I couldn’t relate. The only thing I had been thinking about in my heart was how to visit this mentor of mine and ask him for support regarding my rent. I decided that the prophecy was a green light for me to take a step of faith I gathered as much money as my wife could loan me and travelled to this man’s state. I deliberately targeted the primary election period when I was sure he would have to be on the ground in his state and not in Abuja. And you can clearly see I wasn’t full of “hate” just “facts.” Yes back then I was still drinking white claw and a bit freaked out but I was ahead of the curve and I did burn my career and name in the entertainment industry that I was very successful in to tell the truth. And I had little kids at the time who relied on me. And we made it thru and are all doing really good now. It strengthened my faith to see us not crumble as the world around me went crazy, but thrive. So thank you all who Stuck with me. What a ride! It’s crazy this is now public knowledge. So grateful.

mingyu's ment tonight 🖤 #민규 🐶 thank you so much for today everyone. time's so fast, isn't it? while the members were talking earlier, it reminded me of when i was younger. when i was a trainee, it was my dream to debut and as we did on may 26, 2015, i realized how far i need to go, how many things i need to do, and that i need to grow. 11 years have gone by already and we've become the seventeen of today. if i just simply think about it, it could just be a concert where we can have fun together with carats whom we are familiar with. but if i think of it differently, "when, where, and how did i become a person who can laugh and have fun with everyone without getting nervous in such a large venue?" that's why... i guess i really have no choice but to say this, right? i didn't want to but anyway. though i'll have to take a short break from performing with you all on a huge stage, for the past 11 years, i believe i was able to wrap up one chapter very nicely. i want to say thank you so much to all the carats who love us, the members who have endured well, and the staff around us. once we see each other again 2-3 years from now, i believe our 2nd chapter will start. i'll [come back] in better shape that's different from now. i should be different [by then] right? i hope that you'll love that side of me, and we'll be seventeen who will keep on growing. thank you so much always, i love you so much, and i'll do my best. thank you!
