I hooked up an iOS shortcut to GPT-4 and GitHub. Here’s how it works: - identifies the repo - identifies the target files - writes the code for me - creates a branch - commits changes Now I can code right on my Apple Watch with nothing but my voice!

Had the idea last night. Got it working on a test repo and generalized it this morning to work with all repos. Working on innovative tools like this at @CodewandAI. I should be dropping Codewand’s 1st tool at the end of the week. Not voice, but will have voice on it eventually.

Only works on single files rn hence why the demo was relatively simple, but next I’ll do multi files and share a demo

I modified your other one for Siri on iPhone, if you switch out “Dictate Text” to “Ask For” then Siri stops saying “What’s the text” it’s a much better experience. In this video I also split the prompt, the first to set the “system” variable and then second the user prompt

The little excited reaction in your voice when you see it's there is so wholesome

I’ll never get sick of the magic of software.

amazing - thanks for pioneering + sharing #VoiceGPT

very cool, the next step should be to give it power to update the code on its own to and constantly improve over time without any human input. Give it a goal and the freedom to update the code at will.

This is epic! Great to see AI being used proactively. What are your thoughts about ethics in AI? Guidelines for AI tech vary from country to country - makes this quite opaque. Not taking away from the absolute power of AI, just noting a genuine concern.

Magical
