This is one of the best videos to ever exist for entrepreneurs, creators... I think about it often. In 2016, Pharrell Williams visited a NYU music production class to critique student songs. At the beginning you could see student "Maggie Rogers" drenched with the absolute terror of sharing this with him. Pharrell is there just trying to keep his excitement in. The guy couldn’t wait to tell her this song is the bee’s knees. After he listened to a song called “Alaska”, he explained why “I have zero, zero, zero notes for that:” 24 hours later, someone posted the clip to Reddit. It blew up and the rest is history. Is Windsurf better than Cursor? impossible to say, but... it does one thing better: soooo... I spent an hour testing windsurf... and this is what i created... and app called "boop-boop" lol... one thing windsurf does is it searches the internet. If you've been watching my videos you know that i go to perplexity all the time to get code examples and docs. but with windsurf you can just say, "search the replicate top image gen models and add them to the chat we just created" It will search the internet, find the right model then write the code. This is great for replicate and openrouter. You can have one api key in your .env file then just tell windsurf to search for docs for [insert ai model] and it will just add it to your app. Impressed tbh.

So, I have been watching the video for hours. I am pretty sure I see a gun, I see him doing something in the area of the screwdriver was found and I see a recoil, but first, let's break it down, this first video, I think it is clear he is running with a gun, this looks like the barrel to me. Excuse my poor editing, I was trying to give you an area to look at to see the barrel--inevitably, a cultist will take a still from this video where I prematurely circled the area so you know what area to look, and they will claim "NO GUN" you watch. Anyway, I do not care, first part is proving a gun was on that roof and I clearly see it, do you?

Now that I am home and have access to my files I decided to do a quick test with one of my Vtubing avatars. It works way better with my larger iPad Pro (less crashing/more memory and more screen space) compared to the mini so I did want to bring that up. Importing the file over as GLB was more stable than just OBJ plus it kept the color info from the previous texture. I texture all my avatars on substance painter but have been looking at an alternative when I am out and about that is not on the computer and this actually hits all the right "wants". Adding a quick video of the way the app works for me. I like that it has layers, I can alter my brushes and even add stabilization when I am drawing (which I use that extensively on procreate so that was a huge plus). The stamp tools will come in handy as well but did not show it on this video. The file itself is imported as "one mesh" but each part is treated as their own separate piece which I show in the video. I do the same thing on substance painter making it really easy for me to texture. The app then exports the texture out for each object which is the same way I do so on substance. Overall I am extremely impressed with the work Sparseal has done on this application and see how useful this will be for my current work flow of texturing. I for one love the ability to be "portable" which is a big reason I sculpt so much with Nomad Sculpt on the iPad. Having the freedom to do your work away from a desk and if you feel like doing it outside is probable why I yearn for iPad apps so much like so. Give this app a look, it is free to try on the App Store (It is $19 to be able to export, but a one time buy). It is called "Wafer" for the iPad. I already use CozyBlanket from the same creator to do re topology so I expected this level of fantastic with this current app.

It can take photos of you, or shoot videos, run photo packs, remix content you upload etc. anything you see in the interface. Like an AI photographer that does everything for you inside the web app The convo history is stored in localStorage, and the chat uses xAI Grok 4 to send messages, there I define the tools it can use, and when it gets a response JS controls the site like prompt textareas, or photo pack section, or take photo button It also knows what's on your screen, so you can say you want to mix the blue jacket from one photo and the red hair from the other A few weeks ago I told Yasser it'd be cool if Chatbase (an AI customer support pop up chat) would be able to fully control my site too, and this week I saw Farza 🇵🇰🇺🇸 building an AI desktop app that fully controls his computer too so I think that's where things are going, you don't see it on the web that much though Very fun to build and hopefully useful for people!!!

✨ Finally built a timeline for now I always wanted to make my site a bit more social, because I had profiles and trip overlaps and you could kinda see where other people went, but not something like this So on this new page you can see people near you, where everyone's traveling too, etc. There's the [ For you ] tab and [ Following ], like on X. So you can see people you follow, or just everyone I hope I can improve it more so the site will result in more serendipitous connections, especially now that's it's free Also nice you can see where people will be in the future so you can plan trips to places where other members are, or if you're in the FOR YOU tab, where your friends are Let me know any ideas you have and things I should build and I'll do it, I want to make it the biggest and most fun to use nomad/travel site in the world! (Please tell your friends about that it's free, so you can use it as a social friends travel tracker kinda thing)

All this talk about AGI destroying moats and everything made me want to ship again One of the conclusions from all of you was, if you can use AI to ship faster and better, you should just ship way more complex things, like things you could not imagine making before For me personally I'd never imagine making Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro or Capcut but on the web, it'd simply be too difficult for me, where do I even start? So today I just tried and vibecoded them into Photo AI! A fully functional video editor but the cool twist is this one can actually generate videos with you or your trained models in it directly in your video editor I'm personally less interested in the AI influencers etc, but more fun to make actual kinda cinematic short films with yourself and other people in it, so I made this Likeness in video models is now good enough so that gives lots of cool opportunities, but most AI platforms just let you generate 10 second clips but then you're stuck with that and have to put it together yourself in Final Cut Pro So now you can just [ Send to video editor ] inside Photo AI and you end up here And the next thing I'll add is the AI Agent sidebar I have in Photo AI's main app too, which lets an agent take control of the interface. In this case you'll be able to say "make a short film of me in Bangkok", it'll ask you some questions, then write a script of prompts, which are then generated as videos with you or other people as the actors in it and automatically edited into a short film on your time Then you can right click on any video you don't like (some videos just suck or have bad resemblance to you, shit happens), and click [ Regenerate], adjust the prompt a bit and the new video will show up in the same place on your video timeline In this case I did try to make a short film of me arriving in Bangkok as a digital nomad the first time and being dazed, lost and disillusioned as I am on the other side of the world 🤯 Featuring Lorn's song "The Slow Blade"
