Man... picking between Sheryl and Ranka is so tough for me. They’re both awesome characters. They’re super different in almost every way, but the one thing they’ve got in common is their love for singing. Ranka couldn't become Miss Macross, and since she’s tiny, people barely notice her or take her seriously, calling her dreams childish. 🌿 Princess Catherine's Mother Nature series is her art, an expression of herself and her journey. So of course it's subjective. Not everyone will find it interesting, or relevant. That's okay. My mom passed peacefully at 1:11pm two days ago, surrounded by her three little birds, my sister, my brother, and me, holding her hand and stroking her head as we sang to her. The song Three Little Birds came on at just the right moment, like it was meant for her. And it was. She took her final breaths wrapped in our love, with music, light, and presence guiding her home. She was the brightest soul I’ve ever known. A radiant artist. A lover of dance, beauty, color, and connection. She taught me how to notice life, how to play, how to trust the light within me. If you’ve ever been touched by my love or joy, it was seeded by her. After she passed, we stayed with her. But yet she always says her dad left her after the divorce and her she never had a strong female figure. She said her grandmother on her deathbed asked her to forgive her mom. She said her grandfather was the only male in her life. And she was kicked out at 14. Had to live with a boyfriend and pay for herself. So is she lying about her childhood?
